I got given this book to read without realising it was a number 2 in a series til I went on goodreads, but being me cause I started the book I had to finish it. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the first book than went into this one cause there was quite a few times they were talking about something that I should already know but don't cause I started with this book. This will be a book I reread after I read the first one

It’s a fun read but I admit to being confused a bit because I didn’t realize it was part of a series until it was underway. That said it is still enjoyable.

Two-fisted detective work crashes headfirst into alternate reality Nazi super-science, all cradled in the webbed hands of the Lovecraft mythos. Great sequel to Carter & Lovecraft, though it leans more towards James Bond at parts than Sam Spade - but I love it nonetheless.

A great follow up to Carter & Lovecraft. Much more action and just the right level of weird.

Much better than the first book (though I enjoyed that too). Thoroughly enjoyable and I really want to read more of the adventures of Carter & Lovecraft in the unfolded world. A great contemporary take on the Cthulhu mythos.
