It's embarrassing how long it took me to read a single manga, but between being sick, reading another book at the same time, and other personal things, this is the outcome.

Easy story to pick up, put down and return to after a few days though. Which I suppose can be a good thing.

Cute installment. The prep for the festival was nice. Kinda a slower book.

In the beginning we have the gang at the festival and of course tomoe and mitsuki are having at it so nanami making them hold hands with her powers was boss ass move! And finding out mitzuki gave Tomoe the alcohol back then!? Bruh my hearttttt.

Next chapter we have nanami trying to make the shrine more lively to get more people to come, so she decides to hold a festival.
But there’s this guy who tests nanami and passes of course!
Then we get to see the festival and nanami getting anxious which ends in a wholesome way!

I’ve always loved grumpy x sunshine couples, but grumpy x sunshine enemies? THIS IS GOLDEN ✨ I’m speaking about Tomoe and Mizuki; now that Mizuki is also a shinshi in Nanami’s temple, every single day is filled with the two of them bickering and Nanami being stuck in the middle. I really can’t stop laughing seeing how much they hate each other.

I love how Nanami ends up forcing them to hold hands until they can make up, it’s honestly hilarious seeing the two of them. Nanami is also trying her best to make sure that other humans know that their temple is still working and not abandoned, and I think her efforts really deserve to be praised. She can be clumsy and may seem weak, but her love for the temple that she now calls home and those around her makes her a really admirable character.

There are two new characters in this volume too, though the identity of both characters are still unknown. I just hope they don’t give too much trouble for Nanami soon.
