I think if I read this at a different time I could get into it. I liked the writing style but just couldn’t connect with the main character. Men’s, guns, the army, etc. blah blah.

Honestly, I loved these characters so much that I would read about their day to day for 300 more pages. Nothing really happens for a while but the payoff is that you’re extremely invested in the relationships and how it ends.
