The Kill Switch is a fast-paced adventure thriller featuring a good action hero with his canine partner. The science of the story is intriguing. This is a low 4 star book in my rating world but an excellent read for fans of Clive Cussler types of books.

Fun crime drama. I am not dying to read another with these characters, but it was a fun story. It lasted a little long for me - too many "shocking" events in one story...

A spin-off from Rollins' SIGMA books. Tucker Wayne is square-jawed and on a mission to save the world, like every hero in these man-smut books. However, Tucker's different and interesting in 2 ways: 1) he suffers from combat PTSD, thereby making him a little vulnerable and truly discomfitted when he kills someone, and 2) he has this great dog Kane with him on all of his adventures. This story featured not one, but two deadly (and beautiful, of course) female assassins, a brilliant but clueless scientist, a band of salt-of-the-earth South African brothers, and a horrific killing will-end-the-world-as-we-know-it ------- (wait for it...!) -------- plant. More fun than a barrel of monkeys.

I love reading about Tucker and Kane. I am looking forward to reading their future stories.

Very good book, lots of interesting twists and turns. The incorporation of the dog’s point of view was a refreshing and good addition to the story.

Good read from my library. Good enough that I bought the next book in the series because my library didn't have it.

Ha, if you can't tell, on on a thrillers with human-dog team reading kick. This was solid bestseller thriller entertainment. I had to suspend my disbelief, but I didn't mind, as I enjoyed imagining the action in my mind, like watching a summer blockbuster. I also liked that the author included a "fact or fiction" type section at the end to discuss what about the canine handlers, locations, and botany in the book were truth versus fiction.

I couldn't do it. I listened to the audio book for about 12.5 out of the 14.5 hours that were this book but I cannot finish it. The story is beyond the point of being able to suspend my disbelief, it's bullshit all the way around.

I think the narrator tried his best on this but the characters really put him in a bad spot; the accents and character voices really made this even more difficult to listen to.

If I had read the book I may have forced my way through to the end, but I cannot listen to this for another minute so... I give up.
