I loved finding out how Gold Rush Ranch started, learning the story of Vaughn's grandparents and how they overcame so much to be together. I couldn't help but feel a little odd reading about grandparents in the spicy parts though... Defiantly should have read this book first! Then I think I would have interpreted it better, rather than someone's grandparents

I think because this was a novella, it felt rushed. I liked the premise. Ada has been in love with Dermot for years but he doesn't want to believe in his feelings for her. Hopefully the rest of the series will grab me.
