I've really fallen in love with this series. The setting, the brotherhood, the friendships. It's just brilliant. Can't wait for more books and to meet more of the hockey team up close.

Ekkkks. I do love a good hockey romance and when I heard Veronica was about to dive in it the trope I knew I couldn't wait. This book was amazing. Easton saw Maya in the enemies color at a home game. There was an instant connection and he want to know more. This book had so many good moments. We did see alot of hockey moments too which is nice. This book was a wonderful read and I love their journey.

I really loved this book in the beginning it was reallyy addictive. I think just within the middle of the book I got a really slump which made it harder to continue the book but other than that the book was a really good book and brought me comfort at times.

Loved the two MCs in this and the side characters- though I wish there had been a little more development with the side characters. This was right in the middle of KU books I’ve read- better writing and story telling than some but not as good as some others. I would probably read this again- although at times I thought that Easton was just too perfect/not realistic and everything always worked out every time which is a good and bad thing. I wavered on giving this 4, but the fact that some things seemed unrealistic took it down a peg for me.

Easton & maya are adorable and he’s truly down bad for her. No owd, no cheating/thought of cheating, just him being fully obsessed with her, and her loving every inch of him. No third act breakup, just a little angst/ talk of a deceased parent/ and loss of a family member. But it’s all pretty sweet and lighthearted considering. Adore, adore, adore.

Too Drawn Out
I feel like this could have been edited down a lot and it all got a bit sickly sweet.
It’s a pity because I was really enjoying it until I wasn’t .

This is one of those light and fluffy books that doesn’t really grip you and make you want to read in one go, but is a nice pallet cleanser. It was very insta love! Like first page kinda instant. There was not really much meat to this story. Just a lot of fluff. I wasn’t in love with either character but I didn’t not like them either. Idk. It wasn’t my favorite hockey romance.
