I did enjoy this book more than book 1, however, it was brutal and triggering. Much more violent and horrifying than book 1. I was also just feeling awful for the characters, especially Andrew. The writing felt more improved and tighter than the first book, and the characters more involved.

Still, the same issues from book 1 persist, and the resolution and some of the conversations were again triggering as Hell. Especially post Andrew's trauma reveal. The first half of the book and some toward the last third were great. The plot is still ridiculous and of course you have to really suspend your disbelief with this one.

This book caused me a lot of pain, and I love it for it. I love all the characters with all my heart(except you-know-who). Neil is the sweetest dumbest fucker to tread on this earth.🤦‍♀️

The whole second half of this book is pure misery. But nonethelless, the characters and the book as a whole are still incredibly well written. It's funny, it's painful, it's good. 
Found family is found familying.
