omg that was actually so good?? my first mafia romance book and i loved it so much <3

i fell in love with morana SO FAST. like 1) she's a genius programmer (like how often do you see that in books???) and 2) her character is just amazing i love her personality she's so smart, kind, but also not afraid to crush the people who mess with her

I read my first dark/mafia romance novel. Absolutely worth it. Tristan and Morana are such unique people that you have to take your time getting to know them. They make the ideal enemies for lovers. I found myself wanting more of them by the end of the novel. Tristan and Morana's first kiss was beautiful and perfect. Also the only book i liked reading in third pov.

I really enjoy this storyline, the spice, and the angst between the main characters. The storyline is also set up perfectly where you just have to keep knowing what will happen next.Ā

I would've rated this book a little higher but there were multiple typos (grammatic/spelling) that were very noticeable.Ā

Where do I beginā€¦
ā€”
The only reason Iā€™m reading this is bc I want to read The Annihilator-

Morana:
- Annoyed me no lie.
- We get it you live in different world than everyoneā€¦
- Very stubborn and badass.
- Need her to be relaxed like take a break-

Tristan:
- When you find everything about him you just want to hug him :,(
- We needed more from him like this wasnā€™t enough.
- We barely hear him speak it was always short and quick which made me want more!

ā€”
Like I said I want to read The annihilator since it has stalker trope I guess you can say.
Not looking forward to the second book but we got to do what we got to do!
- THE DANTE AND AMARA CRUMBS-
I be eating them up!
- Amara has my heart without knowing Iā€™m so excited to read her and Danteā€™s book!
- I feel like Dante is my favorite even if we got the little crumbs from him.
- I love the beginning friendship of Amara and Morana like we need more!
ā€”
Overall 3-3.5/5 stars. The only thing that raised it was Amara and Dante crumbs as well as Amara and Morana friendship.
Hopefully we get Tristanā€™s POV bc Iā€™m tired of Morana

The Predator- Runyx

4.8/ 5 Stars!

Morana Vitalio made a mistake and the only way to fix it is to kill one of the deadliest names in the city, The Predator. Tristian Caine, The Predator, is a lethal name in the Tenebrae Outfit, and when the enemy's daughter, Morana shows up to kill him, they become locked in deadly game. Morana thought she was the hunter, but when you play games with The Predator you can be nothing but prey. Tristian is deadly, lethal, intense, and is hiding secrets. It becomes clear to Morana that Tristian hates her, but she is unaware of the history between them that has made her life his to claim. Can the brilliant Ms. Vitalio outsmart the lethal Mr. Caine or will bloodshed start a war between the two mobs?

I have quickly become obsessed with RuNyx's books. This mafia romance feels fresh and different from other mafia romances I've read. Morana is by no means a docile heroine. She is intelligent, independent, and can hold her own in a fight. Unlike other heroines found in the mafia world she has carved a morsel of freedom for herself. She has a sharp tongue and refuses to be controlled by the men in the world. I love this author's use of metaphors and descriptive words. I feel their very essence and their presence rather than just a physical description of a character. I can hear their voices and I can feel their pain. It's honestly beautiful the way she writes. She sticks to theme of hunter in prey throughout the novel using words you associate with animals, and it gives the book an intensity that I love. I also love that her characters hold secrets because I love a surprise in the end, but I did feel like their hatred for each other went on a little longer than I would have liked. The sexual tension between these two was so intensely wrapped in hatred that it had my heart pounding every time the encountered not sure if they were going to f*ck each other or kill each other. I felt like I was in the middle of their hunt holding my breaths in the same moments they do and hoping the characters in the book couldn't hear my own heart beat pounding in fear they might turn their hunt on me. It was intense.

This book is a great mafia romance with a very strong heroine. The the tension between these two could fuel a fire, and their games make for an exciting enemies to lovers. For those who love a mafia romance this is an overall great read!
