I really enjoyed this story. Lots of emotions and characters that you will like. I've listened to a few of Mia's books and they all have real emotions and moments that cause the water works to come out. This is no different. BRANT'S RETURN starts off with a moment that left you at the edge of your seat and then wanting more.

I liked everything about this story except for the insta-love between the main characters, Brant & Isabelle. Other than that, I really loved their character development and their story. They each of a lot of things baggage to deal with and sort through. I will say that it was a breath of fresh air to have the hero be the one that knew what he wanted first!

Narrators Review: Jacob Morgan & Virginia Rose were perfect for this title. Their performance was and enhanced the story. They each provided the characters with different voices/tones providing an additional depth to their performance.

Overall, I really enjoyed this story and the characters. The pace was good and you will want to read more about them. I'm looking forward to listening to another Mia Sheridan book.

I sometimes hate this part of myself where once I started something, I needed to finish it even if I hated it.

The characters have no chemistry. Weird plot twist. Boring scenes. Overall, I should not have read this. Kinda different from the other book she wrote.

I LOVED this book so much!! Brant's Return was a very classic Mia Sheridan book, and exactly why her books move me in a deep way.
From the begining prologue, I was hooked. I made assumptions right away about what was going to happen, but I was very wrong.
Isabelle and Brant seem to be ill-suited from the beginning, as he is the buttoned-up blowhard son of Isabelle's beloved, but cranky, boss. Their first interactions hold so much passion, and the Mia Sheridan conversations that cause me to reflect on my own self.
"Other people carry pain too. Even your father."
I don't want to share too much, as this is not only a beautiful and moving story of love, forgiveness, and growth, but it is also a story of mystery and suspense. My insinuations from the beginning were wrong, then what I assumed in the middle, and finally it all came together in the end in a big way. I really loved this book, and I highly recommend it to all romance lovers
**Was given an ARC by the author for an honest review**

Loved the plot.

Loved the characters.

Some of the content didn’t match the characters in my very humble opinion.

I’m a sucker for consistency.

This is a good story.
The prologue shows a tragic incident which is heart breaking,
Grant and Isabelle.
Grant is estranged from his father and receives a phone call from his father's secretary to express that his father is dying.
Grant is at home with a woman he is dating, he has lost interest in her and cuts the evening short saying he wants to be alone.

Isabelle has an interesting background. There is still some mystery about her past which runs in the background to the romance between Grant and Isabelle.

They separate for a short time, during this time the heroine sees photos of him online with the previous woman he was dating, arms linked dressed up at an event, appearing as though they are together.
The ex later says that she only saw him for a few moments at the event when she tries to start things up again but he is not interested.
Later the heroine walks in on them kissing and the Hero pushing her away, he explains his ex kissed him, out of the blue, and he rebutted her. The heroine believes her.
There is an emotional story about Grant coming to terms with his past and dealing with his relationship with his father and Isabelle coming to terms with her past.
The mystery is not too difficult to work out at a certain point but there are a few options.
Quite a dramatic ending.
HEA.
Epilogue.

I’m mostly just wondering if we’ll get a spin off for Aaron. Seems like the natural progression here
