i really wish they kept this in the anime ugh

chapter 108:
i understand Tohru wants to never forget her mom but her love for her mom and her love for Kyo are completely different so i think it’s okay that Kyo is the most important to her, especially when he’s going to be hers forever like it’s just a completely different kind of love, different compartment in her heart…

chapter 109:
i feel so bad for Tohru, she was so worried about her mom abandoning her

Tohru and Kyo are going through a lot. I hope they can have a happy ending.
Tall Momiji is so handsome, but I like that he hasn't completely changed yet.
We finally learn how Kakeru knows Tohru. I'm disappointed in how he acted. Those kinds of words would have been extremely hurtful to someone who's already in pain. I think he should have apologized to Tohru a long time ago. I don't think she should have had to approach him first.

Tooru's grief is not something that gets treated a lot in the story. She's more the catalyst for everything else to happen to the Soma family, so I like how this volume focuses a lot on her feelings about her parents, and how she learned to cope with her mother's grief. I think it's a very normal feeling for her to not want to forget her mom and feeling guilty about loving other people, but I also love the fact that she wants to try to move on with her own life.

The whole "At least we're not the cat" scene gave me chills. I love it. I think it's genius that at this point in the story we still get glimpses of how Kyo is still an outsider in this family, even when we've seen others treat him as part of the group.

There are some really sweet Kyo/Tooru scenes in here which I loooove.

I love grown-up Momiji so much!!! I also love the way Yuki is with Machi, especially in comparison to the way he used to be. I love how the characters in this story all evolve little by little. I also loved Komaki. I don't know if she'll ever show up again, but her chapter was really fun.

This volume was like a show of how the characters have grown. It's surprising how much they've all changed. Really the Kyo, Tohru stuff was so cute. They have to be together, Kyo can't be locked up, he's my favourite character!
I didn't really care about the student council things. Ayame made a funny appearance, he always cracks me up and I love'd his small backstory about meeting Mine. I felt sad for Manabe's girlfriend, it's horrible they are all connected to Tohru in that sad way. Anyway this volume was over to quickly, I want to read more.
