Months waiting for this book and I read it in less than a day

It was a bittersweet read, more bitter than sweet actually. But I love the way Sarah gives a new light to the characters, and the way she write it made me see all in my mind.

I’m still processing the content of the book. I mean, Nick is suffering, I’m suffering...

Now, we need a book between part 3 and 4? Definitely

I loved getting Nick's story. It makes watching him struggle make so much more sense.

Thank you to @scholastic_au for sending me a copy of this one. I love reading Sarah Rees Brennan's novelisations of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, they add a little bit extra to the characters of the show. This one is set between Part 2 and Part 3 of the show and explores Sabrinas first attempt at rescuing Nick from Hell. The story has POV's from Sabrina in Greendale, Nick in Hell and Ambrose and Prudence in Europe hunting Father Blackwood. I find these books give more insight into each character, in this one we learn more about Nick's past as he struggles in Hell. Sabrina and her mortal friends have to face some truths they may not want to on there quest to save Nick. And Prudence and Ambrose learn more about each other. I love that in the books Salem talks to Sabrina. Aunt Hilda and Zelda are also present throughout the story helping and supporting Sabrina after the events that led to Nick going to Hell and her finding out who her true father is.

The previous two books felt a lot closer to the series than this one and to me, I assume, that it sets in between the events in Part 2 and Part 3. I ASSUME, OKAY, I ASSUME.

Overall, I really love the story. I also love the part with Harvey and the ghost kids. That was so so cute. Also, Lilith reigning as queen in hell? She really said "You could be the king, but watch the queen conquer." HOHOHOHOHO

Anyway, 4/5 from me. It was a quick read for me and I was expecting something a little closer to Part 3 but oh well, I hope there's another book coming! Would love to read a little more about Caliban ;)

SRB always delivers. These are facts. Though the third installment in this series had plenty of her trademark humor, it also dug deeper into these characters in a way I wasn't totally prepared for (which is silly, because that's basically Her Brand). It made me cry more than I thought it would. I loved these books so much they made me love the show, and I can only hope they continue to bring such richness to its world.

And shout-out to Theo, MVP of this book. Also if this doesn't take a turn for Harvey/Sabrina/Nick, I don't even know.

This one was a bit difficult to follow, going from past to present constantly.
