Page turner

Not as engrossing as "the woman in cabin 10", but pretty good. I wish the suspense had lasted longer. The plot felt rushed and needed more development. Good, easy read for times when you don't want to be overwhelmed with character development.

I didn’t care much about the main character, but there were a few okay twists. Nothing earth-shattering.

Two life lessons from this book:
1. Don’t have friends.
2. Don’t have a gun displayed in your house.

2.5 stars rounded down. This was a quick and initially, interesting read. However, the twist was obvious and the entire premise just didn’t feel logical or even likely of happening. Invited to a bach party for someone you haven’t talked to in 10 years? Don’t go. Find out when you get there that your old BFF is marrying your ex? Go home. Surround yourself with catty characters who treat you badly? Go home. Cry and have multiple “medical episodes” due to being treated poorly? Go home. But this isn’t what happens and it annoyed the hell out of me.
