Everything that was missing from my book keeping knowledge for my small business. I can't believe I ever worked without it.

I loved this book! I put off reading it for ages because I assumed it would be a dense and boring read. It's actually written in a very entertaining and simple to understand way. I am just starting out on the Profit First method for my business and I'm really excited to use this system. Highly recommend!!

Mike Michalowicz keeps a sensitive subject light hearted. Rebuilding a financial management process is not easy; Though, he tailored it for company owners and C-Suite Executives big and small. Meaning, you can’t hand this book to your accountant or bookkeeper and say “Beam me up, Scotty.” No, this is a financial system for non financial professionals. You are responsible for building, managing, and monitoring this system. In fact, ‘Get Real with your Accountant’ is the last action step.

This book is life-changing. I took notes and implemented the Profit First concept. It’s kind of like Dave Ramsey envelopes and setting aside the important stuff first—except with business money. Because you set aside your profit and taxes first, you won’t see it as “available” and decide to increase your operating expenses. My business has been fulfilling as I help people recover their health, but my business has never brought home an income. That will change starting now.
