2.75. Much too long and redundant. Perhaps if this was one of the first business books I'd read I would have gotten more out of it, but it was a lot of familiar stories.
Not really worth a read unless you want to do a short book and haven't read much of this genre.

I liked the message but it's just not my preferred genre. Was reading for a book club.

I really really struggled with this book and honestly won’t have given it up but a mentor recommended it so I stuck it out.
This book is just so repetitive, using stories that are outdated and don’t capture what inspires people today (for example all the Apple examples are about computers not phones). The thesis was simple but honestly other than three many examples I don’t think anything else was worth including!

Had to read it for class and after discussing it every other week for 12 weeks I'm sick of it.

Repetetive, very overconfident, very 'look at these great people and how I figured out their connection!'
just read the first few pages of chapter 10 to get an idea.
But there are also a few great things in there, for example the celery test that comes a few pages later. That thing made me go 'hugh, yeah, actually thats solid'.
And the book is noticeably out of date, especially because it so strongly references how innovative apple is thanks to steve jobs - who has died 12 years ago, and Apples 'innovativity' has certainly dropped noticably.
