Extremely enjoyable read! The whole concept of the book is extremely unique and, though I will admit there are a couple flaws with the worldbuilding, it was smoothly written enough not to interfere with the plot itself. Speaking of the writing, it is very entertainingly and skillfully written. I am in love with Neal Shusterman's writing style and the way he portrays characters' inner thoughts.
Many storylines in this book come full-circle,
which makes for a very emotional and satisfying ending. I wish I could read this book again for the first time!

The biggest problem I have here is
why would parents commit to raising a child for up to 17 years just to have them unwound? Seems like a big waste of time and resources to me.
, but the world is so richly detailed and the characters are so well written and diverse that I don’t care. This book absolutely dunks on The Hunger Games and wipes the floor with Divergent. Hot damn, this should’ve been the most successful mid-2010s YA dystopia and it’s absolutely shocking how those got mega-popular and this didn’t.

This was one of my favourite books as a kid but coming back to it as an adult, I can see the flaws in the story. The characters are relatable but quite one dimensional. There were also quite a few grammatical and spelling errors which took me out of the story.
