This book languished on my tbr for years. I had bought it on a recommendation but contemporary ensemble casts aren’t usually my thing. I finally started reading it for a book challenge and I wish I’d started sooner! I loved Duff, Brad, Jackson, Garret, Moonshine, and Jennika! I loved seeing their friendships grow, I loved seeing them fall in love. I hated Landon from the first and my loathing was justified. I am so happy how everything resolved it self, even if It might have been a little too good to be true.

Well, what an emotional roller coaster! It is not the story of two MC's but lots - Brad, Duff, Moonshine, Garrett, Jackson, Landon and to a lesser extent, Eli, Adam, Jennica and Drake.
For me, the main hero was Moonshine - I'm sure other readers will have their own favourite.
Duff is the wannabe musician and Brad the manager of the bar that gets him noticed. Duff and Brad get together and whilst they have their share of issues, not least the arrest of the man who killed Brad's boyfriend 3 years ago, their relationship is quite straight forward. However, the insight into the entertainment industry and the machinations that go on, well why on earth would anyone want to go there!
Garrett - I just wanted him to wake up to reality - both with Landon and Jackson.
Spoiler didn't want the escalation to happen to him  but it was inevitable, still didn't like to read it though
I seemed to be always waiting for that sword to fall in relation to Landon, a slimy character if ever there was one.
I liked Jackson, he had staying power and was believable as the concerned friend as well as rejected man.
Spoiler I was happy he got his HEA with Garrett

As with other AJ Rose books, I was pulled into the story straight away. It is very different from the Power Exchange stories, perhaps at times all the different personalities got a bit too much. But the different story lines did pull me in and the good clean writing kept me there.

Pull up a seat, order a drink and get comfy, you're going to want to stay here a while!

Queers is excellent, it's a story about love, life and friendship and all that entails. You'll laugh, cry, scream and want to smash a few things too. I read this whopper of a book in one setting, I didn't move from the side of the pool yesterday and I'm still thinking about it this morning. Go pick it up!

This is my first book by this author and I have to say, cliche alert, it won't be my last :)

I'm not really sure what to write here.... Wow... just wow.

This story was epic, completely well rounded, with well developed, believable characters, and well put together plot. I felt connection with all the main characters (and wanted to stab one in the eye with a spork, and swish brains around).

I was totally engaged and invested in this story. I finished it feeling the story was complete, but could be updated at a later stage if the author so desired. No stone left unturned, or leaving me wanting (in a good way). I'm a big fan of series books, but the length of this, and the totality of the plot makes this a perfect stand alone.

The drama was good, but not over the top. The language didn't leave me feeling like I needed a thesaurus or dictionary to refer to.

After reading Power Exchange and Safeword, I didn't hesitate to buy this book. Even though it had a completely different feel, I was not disappointed.

I look forward to more from this author.

Recommended for those who enjoy m/m romance but prefer more character building and plot, with their sex scenes.
