Every time I read a Men of Inked/Heatwave story I fall more in love with the Gallo's as they perfectly epitomise what a family should be like, even though they're 90% crazy.

I always look forward to discovering more about all the characters in Chelle's world. I particulary enjoyed this one narrated by Lance Greenfield and Samantha Brentmoor. They are a great duo and bring the story alive from the first page until the end. I visualize like a movie when I read a story. Chelle does a great job of setting up all the scenes. Like that her writing style is unique and special.

This! This is how instalove should be. I'm usually pretty skeptical about instalove unless it's in the paranormal world, but Chelle Bliss did it so well that all I wanted was for Nick and Jo to get their HEA. There's like a magnetic force between these two, and their whirlwind romance was exactly what I needed for my weekend listen. The relationship is about as low angst as it gets, and the chemistry is off the charts. There is family angst for Jo as she deals with some toxic people in her life. Nick is right there for her, and I just loved him. He may not use a bunch of pretty words, but he definitely says the right things. We also get plenty of family time with the whole lot of quirky craziness that is the Gallo family. There is one thing at the very end of this one that threw me, but I'm thinking we'll get the whole story in the next book.
Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield give voice to these characters, and they capture them wonderfully. The emotion and the attraction between these two come through loud and clear, and there's a bit of tension toward the end that these two captured as well. To sum it up, Spark (perfect title, by the way) is another stellar romance in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series. I'm pretty new to Chelle Bliss, but the more I see, the more I like.

This was a grassy lgreat opposites attract romance. Watching these two fall together was really sweet. Seeing Nick learn to care and Jo getting to experience so many things that she'd never had in her life before is super endearing.  I'm really enjoying this series and looking forward to reading more!

Lance Greenfield and Samantha Brentmoor did a wonderful job on the audiobook. They both have great voices for these characters and really brought them to life.

Oh my gawd, Nick Gallo is EVERYTHING people E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G........so damn swoon-worthy!!!!

"I love you, babe. That crazy, wild kind of love that makes a man do dumb shit. Never loved a person the way I love you either. Fucked me up right from the start."

If you've read any books in this Heatwave Series then you know how amazing these books are but holy geez this book, this one was PHENOMENAL! There was just something about the sweet (he had his moments), protective, sexy nature that was Nick Gallo! Josephine "Jo" Carmichael may have been Hollywood Royalty but her upbringing was short of the love and support she should have had. Her sweet and sassy attitude drew Nick in but her lack of a "normal" childhood brought out the best in him to give her everything she lacked.

This story pulled you in from the first chapter and held on right until the very end. I love getting glimpses of all the craziness that is the Gallo family and this one had me laughing and swooning page after page of this incredible read. This will definitely be a Top Read for me!!

Spark is the story of Nick and Jo, who come from very different backgrounds, their chance encounter and instant attraction.

This was my first book by the author and I quite enjoyed it, I listened to it on audio and the narrators did a great job, adding a lot to my enjoyment.

I found the story itself to be a bit too over the top for my liking, but overall it was a good experience, I especially recommend picking it up in audio format.

I received a complimentary copy and these are my own thoughts.

Jo is the daughter of Hollywood Royalty, and she’s never really had a caring family.
When things go wrong, she’s eating her taco and Nick finds her – he doesn’t want to get involved but he’s a Gallo and he can’t not help her, knowing what his mother would think if he didn’t.
Jo knows Nick doesn’t know who she is, but after he tells her ex that cheated on her they’re coming to get her stuff from the hotel, Jo knows she can’t go there it will be a media circus, so she just lets him know her family is well known.
Jo knows that it’s only a break to get away and she tells Nick’s mother that, she’s only passing through, she wasn’t expecting Angel to let her know to keep telling herself that, Jo is going to find out about just how hard the Gallo’s protect and care for what is theirs.
Although they have a rough start, the more Nick learns of Jo, he knows she had a very different upbringing to her, his was full of family and love, all he wants to do is help Jo stop doubting herself and stop hiding.
Loved seeing all the Gallo’s together at the family meals and the glimpse into the future – can’t wait for the next book.

Def leans a little heavy on the macho-guy trope, but I thought this was sweet and I enjoyed it more than a lot of the books in this series. I'm happy I picked it up.
