Great book to explain the purpose and how to's of the whole 30 program. We have already tried many recipes from the various dog-earred pages that we'll use often

I've successfully completed one intense full-scale whole 30 detox and LOVED it. All of these recipes are amazing and I really really enjoyed all my food. It helped me really detox and figure out what foods were causing me flare-ups / allergies and since i've enjoyed all the yummy recipes while not keeping so strictly to the diet.

Excellent read if you're interested in the program.

Some of the recipes in the book have become regulars at our dinner table.

Good (very) basic meal ideas. The rest feels a bit cult-y and they are definitely into promoting the whole 30 brand. Non scale victories and 'tough love' approach are things I really appreciated.

I liked the background information on inflammation and reiteration of how everyone is different and you make your own choices. As a person who doesn’t eat animals and can’t eat nuts, the program would leave me with no options for protein other than protein powders. I like the concept and may try a program of my own creation.

Liked how detailed the plan was in this book. It literally went through the process of teaching me to cook. I highly recommend!

Not for me. Read most all of it, including recipes. Sugar has too much of a grip on me. And diary. And wheat.

Healthy, down to earth, first plan I've stuck with and really is life changing. It's about creating new habits. I lost weight, acne cleared up, I sleep better and fall asleep faster, more natural energy and I cut out foods that I have no desire to start eating again.

I pre-ordered this book in January and received an advance copy. After having read It Starts with Food last year and participating in the Januray 2015 Whole30, I was still left with some lingering questions. This book will answer any and all questions you may have about completing the Whole30. The FAQ sections are very informative and lengthy. The book is wonderfully written in Melissa's no nonsense style which I love.

The second half of the book is full of recipes and meal plans which are great for someone who is new to the Paleo lifestyle or Whole30. Every recipe has a beautiful colour photo which I really appreciate. I hate getting a cookbook and finding out that only half of the recipes are show in photographs.

The Whole30 challenge is perfect for anyone suffering from auto-immune illnesses or if you just want to kick start weight loss and break bad habits with food.
