Not Sarah Palin
Tina shows off her story telling strength in this fun bio. Best bio by a comedian I have read this year.

Tina Fey is hilarious. Everyone knows it, everyone says it. So maybe that's why I was left wanting more. Yes, the book is funny. Probably at least 80% of it is quite funny, and I had several laugh-out-loud moments. But it wasn't as funny as I expected it to be. Or there weren't as many laugh-out-loud moments as I expected. Or something. I also expected it to be more of an autobiography that was hilarious, but it was more like snippets of various things from her life that she discussed. They seemed somewhat out of chronological order, which of course, bugged me. Overall, it was a fast, funny read, but I wouldn't spend full-price on it.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun easy read and had a bunch of laugh out loud moments. Her chapter on beauty was so funny I read it twice. I would love to read a whole book on her SNL years alone!

Hysterical and thoughtful, too. One of the strongest chapters is how specific lessons learned in improv apply to life. This in particular was wisdom shared in a witty way, and that is what this book offers.
audiobook note: Fey is (naturally) fabulous. I did find the constant references to "this audiobook" a little jarring. I suppose when I listen to a book that I want to believe it is a true recording of the printed work, but now I wonder what else was different. Of course, this also meant we heard the actual audio clip of the Palin/Clinton SNL sketch, and that was pretty great. However, she also alludes to the PDF several times (for photos), but since I listen on my commute I felt I was being cheated a bit. Petty concerns, though. Overall, I'd recommend this to many different listeners.
