OH. MY. GOD.
What should I say about this book?
It's the last book of the Unearthly Series by Cynthia Hand and I really loved the previous books so I was kinda excited how the whole story will end and guess what, I frickin' loved it!
It was a great ending to an awesome series that I'm gonna miss so badly.
I'm so happy that Clara chose Tucker. But this was sort of obviously because he is the one she really does love, not Christian(which I never really liked though)
The story about Angela shocked me a bit because I didn't expect that something like that would happen. woha. But I liked Web...so (:

Thank you Cynthia for such wonderful books!

I’ve finally got around to finishing this series. This series was a surprise to me. I didn’t expect to enjoy Unearthly as much as I did, Hallowed was good, but not as good. Luckily I thoroughly enjoyed Boundless and I’m a very, very happy reader. I don’t intend to spoil the series for those that haven’t finished it.. but if you haven’t got around to finishing it (or starting it!)…do it soon!!

It is so hard to review this book without spoiling it, because all I want to do is to discuss Clara’s choice. Does she go for Tucker or Christian? I was itching to know who she picked and I’m very happy with the outcome. You’ll have to read the book to find out who Clara picked.

The storyline was action packed and towards the end, very fast-paced. I was trying to read it slowly, because I really didn’t want it to end. It wasn’t easy to read slowly. I was sad not to read much about Tucker, but when he does appear in the story, it’s heart-breaking, so it’s probably best that there wasn’t too much of him. Christian has grown on me as a character throughout the series. I could really see the reasoning behind Clara ending up with any of them, but as I said, I’m happy with the choice she made.

Clara is still such a fabulous character. It’s so easy to like her. She’s strong and so determined to do what is right both for herself and for those around her. I still really like her friend Angela. I love how her story progressed. So gripping! I also really liked Clara’s brother Jeffrey. It was good to read more about him and his story.

That’s all I’m going to say about the book, because I really don’t want to spoil it. I think it’s best to go into reading this book with as little information as possible. Boundless is a action-packed, dramatic read. In my opinion, it’s a fantastic end to the trilogy. I only wish that there was another book/novella to find out what had happened to the guy Clara didn’t pick.

Review by a Grade 9 student: Boundless is the third and last book in the Unearthly trilogy. It picks up after Clara, a Triplare (3/4 angel) has seen two of her visions come true, one about a fire where she has to chose between her first love, Tucker, and the boy of her destiny, Christian, and the second, where her mother dies a sad, slow death. After her graduation, she decided to follow fellow angelblood and best friend, Angela, to Stanford where Angela's vision takes place. Through a break-up with Tucker, confusion about Christian, and training to fight the Black Wings, fallen angels, she ends up victorius and the most important vision comes true: her happily-ever-after with Tucker and Angela.

Cynthia Hand has a way of writing in a personal way, but still maintaining a professional tone. The plot of Boundless is written so that for every secret that is revealed, there are 2-3 more hiding in its wake. with many twists, turns, and unsuspected surprises the reader is sure to enjoy every page. The characters also enhance the experience through their relationshps with each other and overall unique personality. It was a great book and the whole series is amazing for anyone who loves to read.

Recommended.

This was a pretty gripping book for me. I really enjoyed it, and I liked the way it ended up for the most part. I agree there are a few unanswered questions, but I think the author did a great job with this series. Well worth the read!

So I finished this trilogy even though I was never quite sure if I like it or not. I suppose in the end I did like it enough to stick it out.

I am so glad that the author had the imagination to not stick to the whole "he's your destiny" nonsense. That was truly refreshing! And the ending was surprisingly unpredictable.

So book 3 of this series showed up at the library, and as soon as I started reading I realised that I'd pretty much forgotten whatever happened in books 1 and 2. Oh well. The important parts: Clara's part angel; so are half the people she knows; there's something of a love triangle that just won't die.

Boundless takes Clara to a couple of scary places, starting with college. Love Interest #2 is there, along with Clara's friend (and fellow angelblood) Angela. (Minor miracle for three students from the same Wyoming high school to get into Stanford? But okay.) Angela's nursing a secret, Clara's nursing a heartache, and a fallen angel is still on their tail.

I've enjoyed this series and probably would have loved it as a teen, but it also hasn't left all that much of an impression. I'm left with some questions about their purposes...Jeffrey's purpose is never really explained; I hate the idea that Angela basically existed to
Spoilerbring another triplare into being
; and I wish...I sort of wish Clara weren't so hell-bent on normal. I've been intrigued, since the first book, by the idea that she can understand any language the world over, and I'd have loved to see her play with that.

Overall: satisfying fluff.

I had put this on hold at the library while I was reading book 2, and it took a while to come. But when I was notified it was there ... I made a special trip in (and YES, even read it in hardbound copy!) I have NOT read the Radiant novella (and didn't feel like I missed anything).

I was happy to jump back into this Unearthly world, although starting out at Stanford, it wasn't really the same setting I had been accustomed to. The book started a little slow for me, but by mid-way I was pretty involved. I admit, I did NOT know HOW Ms. Hand was possibly going to wrap things up ... but she did.

I know most readers are debating the love triangle and the Christian/Tucker result (I was fine either way, I liked how it ended) ... I was a little more intrigued by the whole heaven/hell/God thing. It was an interesting idea of hell presented here. I found it humorous that these part-angel children weren't particularly religious and even disobeyed "the big guy" ... and at at the end, the baddest guy in the book (Asael), what happens to him? Oh, he ends up in heaven!

But, I liked the whole series. It did keep me entertained and involved. I also liked the consistency of the covers, as others have mentioned.

Beginning and middle lagged but the ending made up for it. Great ending to a very sweet series.

It was an okay conclusion, but it ended you knew from the start. I’m a bit over the love triangle thing especially when it is not even a true triangle
