My love for the Kennedy boys is a total addiction. I have been anxiously awaiting the triplets- convinced that they will be my favorite men, and so far, I’m 100% right. Keanu does not disappoint- he’s jumped straight into my heart and soul.

This story is definitely the most emotional of the stories for me thus far. There are parts that are hard and painful to read. While every couple has had their own fair share of drama and some painful personal of couple history, this one rocked me the most. Selena has a dark history- and here we get the full spectrum of her past pain. There are dark and gritty parts, and sweet and gentle parts- either way, I was ALL in my feelings long after reading this story. They are so sweet, so powerful, so STRONG- and they owned me.

Selena is such a survivor- she has a quiet and stable strength that is a wonder to behold. She’s beautifully broken, deeply wounded by her past, but she refuses to be totally lost to it. And the love between her and Keanue is earth shattering- authentic, consuming, and intense. He’s her safety. Keanu stole my whole heart- one of my fav brothers if not my fav. He’s protective and alpha, but he’s also patient, understanding, respectful, and SO giving when it comes to Selena. He listens to her, lets her guide their progress- he reads her almost like her every heartbeat is his own. And truly, perhaps it is- they are truly connected in their souls. Their partnership is just stable and healthy- the way they listen and understand each other, the way they support each other's' needs- gah, it warms my heart. These two grow together so beautifully- they love each other intensely. They make mistakes, but they work through them- they find a path to one another. My heart ached for them and cheered for them- their love filled my heart up with hope and admiration.

I knew I’d get my Kennedy angst, some suspense and drama, but even then this story still surprised me. This one had so much soul- a deep emotional center. Siobhan gets me every time- but Keanu may be one of my all times favs.

Thanks to the author for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion.

This is a new series for me, so picking up book eight in a series is my first heroic act of the year! Hello 2020! I have to say... as soon as I finished this book, I had to wipe tears from my eyes. That ending...

Second chance romance anyone? Selena and Keanu were picture perfect together. This is one woman’s struggle to get her life back after being the victim of an ugly past.

What did I like? I liked Selena’s strength, she was the epitome of brave. Her character was amazing and stalwart. Keanu was so sweet and protective. I liked who they were together.... almost instantly.

Would I buy/recommend? Loved that all the boy names begin with K, such a family of hotness. I’m torn, should I go back and read the first eight? Will it give me tidbits of Keanu and Selena like Keaton was in this book? If you’ve read this series then you know the level of hotness but it’s a stand alone so either way I say grab a copy.

Thoughts for the author? Was so glad to get an ARC, thank you. I need to see Keaton get his in the next book. Please spare him none.

Wow, what a great story! Written in perfection, because this story contains a very sensitive topic as well. Please read the trigger warning ahead!
Keanu and Selena’s story is a sweet one, but with a heavy cloud hanging over their heads. I admire the author how she still could pull off a beautiful story about this. Loved it!

I kindly received an arc from the author and voluntarily left a review

Releasing Keanu is the 8th book in The Kennedy Boys series. This book could be read as a standalone, but I suggest reading them all in order, because a lot of the characters in this book are in the past books as well. This book is told from the POV of Keanu and Selena.

I was so excited to read Keanu's story. In the other books he kept his relationships to himself. He was a model for his mom's company where he met Selena. Selena had some things happen in her past which really messed her up. She started dating Keanu, but when they turned 18 she broke up with him, telling him it would work between them.

This devastated Keanu and he started partying with Kent. He did some things he was not proud of. Selena was still in love with him, but let him go so she could work on her own battles. Now a couple years later, her past has come back to haunt her. She goes to Keanu for help. He still loves her and decides that he will help her no matter how she feels for him.

I loved Keanu's story. I think it's my favorite one so far! He's such a sweet caring guy, and will do anything to protect those he loves. Selena has come a long way since her childhood, and I loved seeing her character get stronger, and do things that would scare her in the past. I really loved the character development in this book. Kent show his softer side to Selena a well, and I can't wait to read more about him in his story!

Can he protect her and keep her safe from her past? Can she get away from all the past and take Keanu back? I loved this story, and can't wait for Keaton's story!

The first book within the Kennedy triplets and it is one that cannot be read lightly due to issues addressed. Keanu Kennedy and Selena Douglas has this special relationship that is challenging not because of their chemistry rather then personal history. This in turn had the two breaking up with many unanswered questions for many years.

With an unexpected appearance by Keanu ex on his doorstep he cannot help to want to protect her at all cost regardless on how much it may hurt being around her again. He is determined to take this opportunity and do anything she needs to prove what and how much she means to him regardless of her demons. Keanu is putting out all the stops to make Selena see that he is there for her and that she is the one. Selena had let Keanu go fo reasons to safeguard him. Is it possible for a second chance for being more?

"You are perfect to me, Sel. You always have been."

Get ready for your feels to break with hopes for more. This triplet will have your heart filled with comfort and joy. The Kennedy family is once again there for each other and seeing snippets of updates always warms my heart.

I went into this book knowing I would like it. So far, I have loved everything this author has written, but I didn't realize it would emotionally take hold of me the way it did. It's a little different from her normal work but still held what I love about her books most. A plot deep enough to drown yourself in.

Keanu thought he had found the love of his life, Selena. He gave her all the love he had to give, all the time and devotion but when she goes and rips his heart out of his chest and breaks it into a million pieces. He is left looking like an idiot, and his reaction to this heartache is drinking himself silly and screw everything and anything that moved, just to try and get her out of his mind, and his heart and his life. But of course, this little tick only masks it and for the most part, it wasn't helping nor was it working, so when Selena finds herself at his door, in need of his help... He sees this as a chance to try and get her back and he is willing to do whatever it took to make her his forever.

Selena has gone through more than any human being should go through, the trauma and the tragic back story to this girl were enough to cripple me. I found myself completely consumed by this woman and a bit of her story I could relate to. But the strength she showed even after all the pain, the suffering she had to endure was powerful and amazing, and she was just an incredible character and I think the author wrote her perfectly.

This second chance romance took me on a ride I didn't expect. It grabbed hold of my heart and didn't release it right until the book. I knew it would have depth and I knew it would have an emotional scene but damn it, I did not realize how deep this would run and how much this story would grab hold of me. It touches some pretty sensitive subjects, so there is a trigger warning. Seeing these two try and piece together a relationship and Keanu's heart that had been broken by this girl he wants back so badly was beautiful yet heartbreaking.

I think the author handles these triggering subjects with grace. It was very well written and thought out. She wrote this flawlessly and I found myself lost within her words.

Captivating, emotional, tragically beautiful and all-consuming... I couldn't put it down.

Another 5 Star read by Siobhan Davis.

Phenomenal dark story, Keanu and Selena' story was amazing, it's full of an emotions, Selena's backstory is not a pretty one so be warned. Keanu was a fool and she left him, when she comes for his help he makes everything to have her back. The story is sweet, but still with angst, not as much as other books by the author but you will find a story that will touch your heart.
