This is really a review on the first 3 books for this series.

I won't be reading the 4th....

DELL is so inconsistent and is always in moments of peril. By the 3rd book I am just tired of it. Maybe she will get some strength in the 4th book but at this point I no longer care

The guys....the relationship develops so fast I got whiplash

It was an interesting plot though so I really wish the story development was better.

I love Dell! She has a lot of stuff to go through because off all that has happened to her. Her past and frankly her present are dark and traumatic. This book is not for the faint of heart, and what a ride it is going to be!

I don’t understand why she took the whipping for that girl. I mean I do but I guess I don’t get how the men couldn’t save her or stop her

Oh my freaking God! It was pathetic, DNF this around 20%, I’ve seen the word vagina at least three time per pages, Good lord I can’t even describe to you what the heck was that novel. I want to clean my eyes with bleach! It could have been amazing but the writing is very poor and bad! RTC

A bit disturbing but I'm sticking with it til the end.

This story is very violent against women in a predatory way. Cruel and miserable. But, the tongue in cheek way Dell talks to herself makes it seem less brutal. It's kind of a weird combination and I'm unsure what to think, really. Part of the story kind of reminds me of the Curse of the Gods series, but this is much darker.

Dell is a paid lady for men's pleasure, but it's not by choice. In this rather dystopian story, women are breeders or pleasure givers and usually the pleasure is taken by force. Having lived this existence her whole life she's become rather numb, but one day she cracks. Making her way to the cliffs overlooking the sea, she speaks some ancient words her mother taught her as a prayer before jumping.

But, right before she leaps, presto potato (those are my fancy magic words), some hot dude sun gods appear. She's summoned them with her prayer and like genies they have to grant her wishes. That wasn't her intent at all, and it all gets a bit crazy and though I'm not sure I really understand what is happening in the story I'm willing to continue reading the next book because this book is weird. I like weird.

The End.

Too dark for me

This book is well written and the world building is great. I liked th FMC inner monologue and laughed at times. But the story is too dark for me.
