Loved this book! I really liked the first Midnight Breed, but this one I LOVED! The main reason being that I truly BELIEVED in Dante and Tess' relationship. Adrian really managed to build it up in a realistic and romantic way.

Dante was so gentle and caring towards her. I thought it was so cute that he went out and bought a dog just to have something more to see her for. He was just so head over heals for her and it felt real.

Although I am still not as connected to the Midnight Breed warriors as I am with the Black Dagger Brotherhood warriors, they are really growing on me.

I was a bit sad that Ben ended up being a Minion. Even though him and Tess were obviously not meant for each other because she was meant Dante, he was a good guy in the beginning. I was hoping that somehow he'd be the Butch (from BDB) of this story or something at first. But, oh well.

I am also sad about what happened with Chase. I was sort of hoping that him and Elise would be able to end up together because he obviously cares very much for her. But as I see it, from the description of the next book, it looks like she's going to end up with Tegan. I'm excited to hear about their story, but I am sad for Chase, he deserved better I think. I hope he doesn't end up an evil character in the future books because I like him.

I also think that Tess' gift is so cool! I can't wait to see how it's used in the future. I think she will for sure finish healing Rio so he can get back to the field. It's going to be cool to see what happens with that.

With that being said, I'm onto the next one!

DNF :*(
I just wasn't getting into this.
I was at 45% & still felt like nothing was happening & the fact I'm in a bit of a book funk isn't helping matters :( Oh Well.
UPDATE AUG 2017
I finally went back to this book and finished it but I've decided I won't be continuing on. I'm just not feeling anything and my interest hasn't been piqued by any of the other lads.

Okay, I liked this one a lot more. There was more of a reason for the couple to actually have feelings for the other... their personalities were at least shown to each other. There was also more to the plot besides needing to take down bad guys -- there was a reason for taking them down and such.

Imma try one more because I wanna know about Tegan.

very good book, it kept me interested the entire way through. I love books that spark my interest from the beginning and can keep it until the very end.

Absolutely love this series.

Her character creation is very good. There are a few story lines running at once, and all of them make you eager for more. Well done. I was about to give up on this genre.

If I laugh out loud, shed a tear, or hold my breath while reading a book - I know it's good. And this one, and the rest of the series are definitely ones that make me emotionally connected to the characters.

Well done. Well done.

Thank you Lara Adrian for bringing the Midnight Breed World alive for your readers.

So, I think I'll pass on completing this series because there are way too many books waiting for me to enjoy that I need to read rather than books that are meh with slightly interesting plots
