I really enjoyed this book set in the Australian Outback. The stockman's grave, family problems, isolation, horses and backpackers.

I really enjoy how Jane Harper write, how she is penciling the characters, how she builds up the story and unravels a few details at the time, details that allows us to understand better and dive deeper into the story. I wish the book would have been less dark and dramatic. Still a great story.

On a wet and windy British autumn day a blast of Australian heat in the form of the latest Jane Harper book is a welcome treat.

Once again Jane Harper conjures up the sweat, dust and tears of the Outback. Families struggling with the elements alongside toxic relationships and hidden secrets. 'The Lost Man' is a great read - I don't want to spoil it by relating the plot; just pick it up and enjoy yourself!

Great sense of place, believable characters, and a story that builds slowly but steadily till the end.
