I really really loved this. It’s philosophical and fun and cute and sad. It’s easy to pick up and read for a while or just for a few minutes. I will have to get a copy of it for myself because there are some short stories in it i wanna read over and over again.

I finally finished this book. As much as I was looking forward to reading it, this dragged on for so long. There were some interesting enjoyable stories but unfortunately it was all in between stories that lacked and I skimmed through them. They’re all very short stories, taking 2-3 pages at most, so that makes the lacking stories easy to skim but sadly makes you wish the interesting ones to be even if slightly longer.

The most interesting ones for me were these:
- 4: Milo Krain
- 6: A Long Chain of Yesterdays
- 8: Wishes
- 9: How to Play
- 14: Elephants
- 16: Many Additional Animals
- 18: A Blight on the Landscape
- 28: The Whirl of Time
- 32: The Phantism vs. The Statue
- 34: Passengers
- 37: The Prism
- 74: Knees
- 76: The Eternities
- 82: Unseeable, Untouchable
- 96: Dusk and Other Stories (I love this one a lot)
- 97: Telephone

Overall it was an alright read.

Really good dive into all different kinds of ghost stories. Each one is only two pages, and yes, the story is complete. The ghosts are not scary at all. There's 6 general themes, and even more deeper themes, which the author conveniently groups in the back.

I could see writing classes use these as explorations into a lengthier story, sort of like a longer version of Chris Van Allsburg's Harris Burdick images/prompts. Some are lovely, heartfelt. Some are very sad. There were a few that didn't work for me, but I am sure that goes for every reader, and the ones that don't work vary.

i really liked the concept here. ever since reading Tiny Nightmares, I've had a fondness for horror flash fiction, and I like how these stories are organized/have the potential to be reorganized. there were times when i didn't enjoy the stories or ideas explored as much, but on the whole i think this is a really interesting collection.

not what I expected, but I loved many of the 2-page stories!
