Aside from the twists being obvious the one thing I can’t get past is the title and tagline. “The Mother Next Door- They’d kill to be her.” Who? Which mother? Who is “they”? No one killed anyone to be like any mother. Jealousy amongst the mom friend group wasn’t even a major part of the story.

I’ve been in somewhat of a reading rut lately and haven’t enjoyed the last few books I’ve read, so I knew I wanted something fast paced and twisty. The Mother Next Door turned out to be exactly that!

This book was set around a Halloween party so it really felt like the perfect read for this time of year. Also, if you’re like me and loved Pretty Little Liars, this is a grown up version.
