what the actual fuck? what did i just read and why did it keep me so interested at all times? that alone is enough for me to give it such a high rating because it’s not a frequent occurrence. another point for making me hate a character so much, Eli i’m talking about you. i don’t even know if i actually hated him tho, or if he just creeped the heck out of me. i could picture him so clearly, all the rage, all the thoughts and behaviors towards Zara, and the “smiles” at the end… gave me the chills like only a few things have done before. and i don’t think i’ve ever read about a literal psychopath before. would definitely repeat the experience but damn… a truly good character in terms of what it can do to the reader. then, another point for Alex’s arc. i liked him from the beginning, even though he obviously had real issues himself, but seeing him try to overcome some of his personality traits just for Zara’s sake is a real indicator that everything he said to her towards the ending was actually meaningful. and he felt like he could actually be a real person, in real life. i can say the same about Zara and Eli. i knew he would eventually be portrayed as the good guy (and i’m talking about all the allegations that were made against him) and now that i think about it, i can somehow see myself in him and relate to his behavior (in some instances). as for Zara, i can’t say i liked her all that much, but the ending seems perfect for her story (especially the last page, i was really glad she got her somewhat of happy ending) and also for the story overall.

This book, i think i really lost my mind in it. I can't help but always love the psycho ones but Eli, he was a whole new level of psycho.I don’t know if Eli loved Zara or not, maybe in his own kind of weird way. One moment I may have chosen him over Alex. But in the end I’m glad with the way things ended.the love triangle in the book is something I can tell you. Both Alex and Eli want something different for/ with Zara.  I couldn't help but feel sorry for her the whole book. she had a lot of problems to deal with you see how her mom threats her, no dad, 3th step dad, no real friends and if you add 2 smoking hot and sexy boys in the mix things are bound to get heavy. Anyone would have felt the way she did. I've never done drugs in my life but i felt why she would. I understood her It’s hard to deal with addiction, if it’s yourself or a person you love, it's never easy, and i feel like this story made me understand it more and the dept of it.Made you see more than the high only. For me personally it was a hard read, it had some things in it, I’ve been through myself. But in the end it was a really good book and it showed that there is a lot more to people than there addiction. Everyone wants to feel loved and wanted and not everyone can voice it the right way or ask for help.
I would recommend this book for sure

This book..THIS BOOK! This is my first time reading this author’s work and before I even finished this book, I ordered the other two in the series and three others! When you know an author’s writing works for you, you just wanna read anything and everything they’ve written, and that’s definitely the case here.

This story was such a toxic study of characters. Drugs, traumas, and obsessions abound! There will be times when reading about these three characters, you will question your own judgment; but in the end your battered and bruised heart will glow with happiness. Highly recommend!!

Once I started this book I just couldn’t stop. You get sucked into the story and just need to know what happens to each character. ⁣

What an emotional ride (I swear most of the books I read just take you on a rollercoaster) 😂⁣

This book is deep, dark, twisted and honestly you’ll be screaming at the book saying WTF multiple times - don’t say I didn’t warn you 🙊 ⁣

I had a hard time with this book. I feel like I cannot actually rate this book because it would do it an injustice. It was not for me. While I read a lot of dark romance novels, this one has a lot of heavy drug use and self inflicted issues. I couldn't, and didn't want to, connect with the characters.
