Claire, you have done it again! I have read all the books in the Hearts series and I have to say Victor and Nicole are by far the best couple! This was a fantastic end to the series!

Victor Reuben was the ideal bachelor. He is great looking, has a great job as a lawyer, and everything he could want. Victor is determined to stay away from love and marriage. Little does he know he’s about to get his second chance at love, but just how far is he willing to go to get it?

Now, Nicole Alessi is soon to be divorced from one of Hollywood’s elite. Her dad is Victor’s boss and he has decided that Victor is the one going to make the divorce happen and end up partner at the firm once this case is over. Problem is can they stay away from each other when they both still so desperately want each other?

Nicole and Victor had a fling five years before her divorce. Victor called it quits after discovering she was the boss’s daughter. They both understood no string attached and Nicole walked out of that relationship and right into her marriage not long after. I love that Nicole owns that she walked away and that their “relationship” wasn’t really a relationship after all. Victor seems to have never gotten over the fact that she left and got married. He’s the one who ended their fling but yet is the one who is the most hurt over it.

Once Victor is back in Nicole’s life, she knew exactly what she wanted from him and made it known. I loved Nicole! Truly a woman who speaks her mind and is strong despite what she’s going through with her soon to be ex-husband. At first you feel like Victor is a hard-ass but once the story gets going, you find that he is truly a romantic (and a bit of a dirty talker!). Soon they both realize there is no denying their chemistry and end up sneaking around. There are quite a few twist and turns and a few moments where you just felt like their relationship might not make it. However, the relationship between Victor and Nicole is absolutely amazing. I enjoyed their banter and you could just feel their chemistry jumping right off the pages!

The Hearts series was all I could hope for. Oliver and Estelle, Mia and Jensen and Victor and Nicole were all amazing. I highly recommend reading the entire series. Twists and turns, swoon worthy moments, hot sex, lots of tears and a beautiful happily ever after! You couldn’t ask for anything more! Outstanding Claire!

I enjoy this whole series but the audios were not good, I didn't like the voices of the people but I bought them so I listened to them.

Tension. Sex. Forbidden romance. Second chances. Mix all of that up and what do you have? The recipe for a perfect book! Well, in my opinion. I hardly ever have a complaint about Claire’s writing or her story lines and I loved the other two books in this standalone series tremendously. But, I did end up rating this book only 3 stars...

Here’s why: I think these characters have been drawn out long enough. I respect the fact that Claire wanted to finish out the series with the last set of characters but this book was almost strenuous to me; forced. Like she had to just find things for Oliver and Jensen and Mia to do. Just sticking them here and there and then POOF! Gone. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, and I have seen it happen with other books as well. I just think it’s best to let it all rest. I was happy this would be the last book.

Also: grammatical errors. I highlighted a bunch. But I can deal. It wasn’t a make or break for me

This book was the LESS angstiest of the series but Claire’s sexual tension and NON insta-love type of romance was well worth the read to me. The way she built Victor and Nicole up was well worth the thrill and the ride. I would catch myself holding my breath, just waiting for a piece, and then loooong exhale. But then when you get what you are looking for, your heart smiles. And you have a cheesy grin on your face.

Once again I scored with the secondary characters. I loved them. From the driver to Quinn to Talon (that’s right). I can’t stress enough how enjoyable these type of characters are for me so I was beyond thankful for the time put into them.

There was no real conflict. I mean there was but it was more so just a forbidden thing. I wont delve into details (in fear of spoiling) but there was not a true climatic part. Maybe a couple of GASPS here and there and some AWWS thrown in but that is about it.

All in all, it was an enjoyable read. Victor was hot. I am talking SPICY hot. Nicole was tolerable. She didn’t drive me to the brink of insanity (that’s always a plus). The story line was superb. I didn’t skim. I am just glad it’s over with. I look forward to reading what Claire can whip out next and move on to.

I'm so sad this series had to end. But I loved everyone one of these. The characters are so fun and different, and this was a great ending to the series!

This was probably my least favourite of the series but I still loved it which shows how fantastic this series is!
If you are looking for a romantic, sexy and funny new adult romance then definitely give this series a read!

But I have to admit that their chemistry was HOT and their banter was hilarious.

I have no doubt that Victor was a great lawyer because those arguments he delivered at the end my god they just melt my heart.

Love reading more about Estelle & Oliver and Mia and Jensen (<---the were my favorites)

Now for the million dollar question Claire... Do you plan to write about Marcus? because I for sure hope that you do

I tried hard to like these books with all high rating. The problem is while I liked the ideas and the storyline, the writing is really not good. It seems the author does not build the characters upfront, and They donѓ??t flow through the book. There are so much upS and down, and most of the time the appear very stupid people. They changed their mind and understanding every seconds. The characters are not consistent through the book.

The secondary characters change roles without any background. Author has potential but does a very sloppy job editing her own work.

Also In this specific book, I donѓ??t see anything special about Nicole. Just a superficial spoiled child than. So this very rich family can not afford a ticket to Argentina and she has to be so needy for a free trip. Soooooo inconsistent.

I felt the need to revisit my old friends and whilst I’d read Kaleidoscope, Torn and Paper and owned both paperback and ebook of Elastic I hadn’t read it. Time to get me some big dog Victor.

I was absolutely not disappointed. I want to wear the Victor tshirt! He’s just so manly! Swoon.

Victor and Nicole hooked up but he ended it when he realised that her being the daughter of his boss could damage his career. She goes away licking her wounds and straight into the arms of actor Gabriel Lake.

Five years on and Victor gets the job of representing Nicole in her divorce. Oooooohhhhh all the sparks and sexual tension! They know they shouldn’t. But....the temptation is too much.

It’s a lovely sexy, light read. Even has a glimpse of Jon Snow.

“You are every goal I never knew I wanted.”

I have a kaleidoscope heart. I have a paper heart. I need a Victor tshirt to complete my set!

This is one of the most likable book couple I've read about in awhile. There could have maybe been a tad less angst(it felt drawn out just a bit too much IMO), but overall it was a great book.
