Reread:

I started this initially (the second time) through the audiobook form but I’m trying to reach 100 books by the end of the year so I decided to read the rest. It def wasn’t as enjoyable as the first time. I’d prob change my review to 3 stars but I do still like the book. I think. The narrator for Emily was really annoying in the audiobook format. She sounded like she was reporting or reciting something and it didn’t make the book v enjoyable. I think because of that, her and Jameson’s fights just seemed more toxic. I started reading it at the point where she gets set up and I skimmed that part because it makes me mad how Jameson doesn’t wanna listen to her and hurts my heart how desperate and heartbroken Emily is. I like how they get back together though. Anyways, it was nice to read this book again. It was the first spicy book I read and I’ve read many since, so it was interesting to reread the book that started it all. V tame I’m comparison to some of the ones I’ve read but I love the love story.

i loved this one enough to finish at 3am when i knew i had to be out the door at 7am, but i'm probably not going to read the 2nd book. they wrapped up this one rather nicely & from what i can tell, the 2nd book may follow the same family, but is a different storyline with different main characters - so i'm probably just going to stop at this one. i do agree with other readers that the constant back & forth & fighting & loving got old after a while... but i still found it charming overall. THE CAMPING SEQUENCE. i know i had a stupid grin on my face the entire time & every time someone referenced it after. i also really just liked the story itself too; not bad at all. i'd recommend this one for sure.

Ermmmmmm
No
Not my favorite
Who am I catering to
No I didn't like it
It was too like contemporary rom com without the comedy
Like just no
The mystery aspect too like what are we trying to do here
It wasn't bad it just was not for me
The smu too...not for me.....
Idek what else to say
I read the first 50% so fast bc I listened to the audible on 2x speed while doing homework which was good. I only read this because I literally cannot find any books on ku with free audible that I want to read. I also want 2.5x speed or smth faster than 2x
Also like he is so stalkery at the end
I get that it is like ...whatever because she loves him and I know it like excusable/not irritating/disturbing to me when I like the guy or whatever but this just felt so creepy and stalkery because I didn't like either of them and mb bc it was so contemporary.
Omg also what felt weird bc it was such a contemporary rom com (that I didn't like) was the like power imbalance/boss/office thing. Like hello.....
Anyways
Lots of twists and turns....not really I actually do not feel like anything happened.
It was so funny to me when he got hit by a car. Like what???? Why was that necessary. It didn't make this book good
Whoops

Ok anyways just my opinion
