Change my review from 3 to 1 star because unlike the author, I stand with the oppressed.

I really expected so much more from this book. I honestly don't know what the actual plot of the book was. I might try a reread in the future and will hopefully feel different.

Another amazing book by Tarryn! I have always found cults to be fascinating and this one was no different. Such an amazing story of love, Loss and growth.

I kinda stopped caring pretty early on. Decent premise, but the current timeline is weird and annoying.

Such a gripping beginning! A solid middle! A letdown of an ending- as far as pacing goes. Fisher knows how to tell an interesting story. This one was about a teenage girl stuck in a cult. I liked the time jumps. The ending was hard to finish. It just took forever to get to the point.

Pretty good. The transition into the Ginger part didn't really make sense to me and I consider it a plot hole... But entertaining none the less.

I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed this! Tarryn Fisher's traditionally published work still isn't as great as her indie stuff, but this was still a very good thriller. The cult aspect of it was very interesting to me and I enjoyed the back and forth chapters.
