I loved the humor in this book, and the way I saw myself and others I love in the main character’s struggles with depression, family dysfunction, and just being an adult in your 20s. It’s dark, but it’s a type of dark I can handle right now.

This was delightful. I feel seen and understood, and though the book is heavy in its constant reflections on mortality and loss, there's something almost hopeful in the way Gilda navigates the world.

This was a beautiful book. It was really nice to read from the perspective of someone with depression in a relatable way. I laughed, I cried.

Really loved this one. Probably not for everyone, but was prefect balance of relatable but not *too* relatable. I could totally see myself falling into some of the people pleasing traps that Gilda does, which made the funny parts of this book really hit home. I was cackling while doing the dishes and listening to this on audiobook.
Also really appreciated the happy ending on this one, I think that I wouldn’t have been as happy with the book overall if it had been different.
