I am going to consider these like cozies. Are they groundbreaking literary masterpieces with well thought out plots and characters? No. Do they serve a diff purpose? Yes, lol.

It was... Good. The only other book I've read like this is The Architect by Nikki Sloane. I DNFd because the spice was too much to handle. I know that sounds stupid but I could not stop blushing while reading the book. But I'm glad I got through reading this one. I don't even know what to say about this book without blushing. But I will say this... If you're looking for something to read in between heavy books and filled with steam and spice, this is something you can check out.

Wow I love a near death experience in a book where the distant love interest saves them, also sometimes in books where the mc lies to the love interest I don’t really understand the motive but this time I absolutely do like 100%.
Also her getting justice at the end and how each of them brings something different to the relationship is an amazing dynamic.
Being truthful I got a bit teary eyed when riven shouted at her and she went out into the storm and the regret that he felt when he found out that she was filmed without her consent made me start to cry a bit and from Eli’s pov when he just kept on repeating that she was dead
