Genuinely baffled by this whole series. I think I’ve determined the purpose of them to be redeeming Neferet and who she could be if given love, but ugh ? Must it be done?
I’ve been reading these books since December. Might be a lil little off the wagon at this point. I got in a car accident and got my booster and I was delirious and had a dream that I WAS Zoey. The pressure her life has. It was Insanity. and i was only there for a night. Stark is a wonderful lover though.
The whole third book did not need to be read tbh. This was exponentially better than the other 3 in the series, but still not enough to warrant 2 stars lmaoo.
This would’ve been so much better if they actually closed the bridge and made Lynette and Neferet lovers. Def queer baiting, lame moves
Idk my brain is mush. I hated this series and wish I never found out abt them. At least now that I’m done I will know peace. OR NOt because they left it open ended …. again. Please future Nicole have respect for yourself and do not pick up any new House of Night that they publish. pls

I got this book as an ARC and I think it’s probably one my my favorites out of the Otherworld series. It started off a bit slow, but I know the Cast crew will always surprise me and even slow I enjoy the read.
But guys, the ending!! It’s so amazing, tears were brought to my eyes during the last several chapters (if hardly ever happens) and I am sooo happy with the way this book was out together.
I think there is only one book left to be made for this sequel and with all the events that unfold I am REALLY hoping it’s a big book.
You know, I like big books and I can not lie! Haha
I really think you’ll enjoy the read and the ending as much as I have and now I’m patiently waiting to buy the release and the next book in the series. <3

Ugh, I only like this epilogue series for the nostalgia factor and a few of the new aspects it provided. I think it’s ridiculous at the end where they’re like “let’s come to this world once a year!” As if that should have been a thing. Come on. And Kevin with Shaunee is just weird and feels like “Other” Shaunee was just thrown in as an after thought. And the traitor army being turned into 5 year olds? Ridiculous. The fact that “Other” Neferet somehow killed immortal Neferet, and then Nyx just poofing her away? Like okay, why wouldnt you just do that shit in the first place then. Also that was too easy.
On the other hand, seeing “Other” Neferet get redemption and turn back into Emily was nice, it reminded me of the facing yourself that happens in the Persona video games. And I will always, always be happy to see Stark (not James. Stark) in any capacity soooo.

The ending felt very rushed for me, I loved that they left it open for a future return to the series but I also felt the characters were pushed together too quickly, they loved too quickly and my gosh if they wrote love, always love, one more time I might have vomited. But I still enjoyed it, was a quick blast from the past read really.
