This book is very immersive you will easily picture yourself on the ranch. I loved Henry and especially loved him for Tait. He just understood her and what she needed (and needed to hear). I enjoyed watching their relationship evolve despite their mutual restraint. Even better was when the restraint finally let go. Also the family drama in this one was soap opera level, which really checked some boxes for me. That B plot was interesting and helped Tait re-find herself after her divorce. If you’re a fan of Savor It by Tarah or cowboy/ranch romances you will like this book!

There was a ton of family drama in this book. I was mostly here for it? I'm a little iffy on the estranged father's redemption arc but I think it was mostly portrayed realistically, if not in a more fulfilling manner.

It's kind of weird that it wasn't weird that the FMC's estranged father's was more a father to the MMC than he'd ever been to FMC? IDK like I feel like there should've been some more drama there but I guess the characters were being mature about it.

The pacing at the end felt rushed.

🌶️ 3/5 The chemistry between the MCs was good and there weren't a ton of steamy scenes but the ones we get are pretty 🔥 vanilla.

🎧 The narrators (dual POV) both did a good job.

Tate has been living in California, far from the family who didn’t care to fight for her when her parents divorced, until the author she works for sends her to a ranch to take photos for her new book. Once she hears the name of the ranch she tries to back out but they won’t allow it, but what are the chances she would get sent to her father’s family ranch? While there she meets Henry, the super hot ranch hand who lives in the cabin right across from hers. She is just at the ranch for a few weeks, so she definitely should not start anything with him. Definitely should not.

I really enjoy Tarah Dewitt’s writing she knows the perfect way to make a story sexy and complex while still having fun and humor.  The last line of the epilogue had be dying laughing.

I got over the sister’s high pitched voice done by the narrator. I’m glad I did, because this was a great book. The speech at the end is one to read again.

Oh WOW I loved this one. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, I cheered. So many lines hit me right in the gut in the best way.

Some minor grammatical issues, typos, and confusing language, but none of that took away even a bit from how much I enjoyed reading this and how much I adored the characters. I will definitely be reading more by this author!

That book was super unrealistic, but I honestly don’t really care!
