Wow! This book had me on an emotional roller coaster. I felt so bad for Macon but he just kept messing up that it made me mad. Poor Lennon has to hide things from her dad and it makes me sad. I went into this book knowing it was a duet but I was not prepared for the ending. Can’t wait to read the next book.

Macon was just a whirlwind of disgust. How he treated Lennon was downright abusive and the book tried to make him have sensitive moments, but the next day he goes back to being an asshole. Who cares if he teaches little kids pottery? He needed help from every direction.

Lennon was very basic. She had zero emotional growth throughout the story.
Even when she stood up to Sam, nothing changed for her.

CLAIRE IS THE WORST.

I'm not sure what I think about this book. I hated the right people and rooted for the right ones (I think). I'm just not into high school romances as much as I used to be. They were all so immature and naive and downright disgusting 🤣. It's like seeing a kid eat a booger. I don't want to read about teenagers humping each other and going through complex storylines when all I want them to be is happy. I'm not ignorant enough to assume that real teenagers don't go through situations like this story, but it was just too much.

Omg this book!!! What a wild ride!!

This book is based on 17 year old Lennon and her best friends older brother Macon who is 19.

I love this book!! It has so much "high school drama" in it! It feels very real life like

There are a couple of 😭😭😭 moments! It certainly pulls on the emotions!

This is my first book by this author and I'm so excited to read more! ❤️

Toxic relationships are forever my guilty pleasure. Ugh I loved this book so much. Just as much as it frustrated the crap out of me. There was so much wrong about Lennon and Macon’s relationship but every time they were together, it felt so right. (Hopefully I add to later)
