I would have liked it better if I was already familiar with Discworld, I think. There were definitely some stories I wish were longer though! I read it for book club, and we were trying to expand our reading to new formats. I think I may start Discworld soon now and see if my favorite shorts were inspirations for that series or made it into that larger story.

I feel like I've read this one before.  I think fans will appreciate it.  As is often the case with a collection of stories, some are better than others.

Very fun to see Pratchett’s writing in the early days! Noticed a few things that trickled their way into Discworld too!!

I know this is early work, but I could easily skip everything except the proper fantasy (anything with dragons or wizards wins lol).
