Such a good read. i couldn"t set down the book and when I did i was waiting to get back to reading. Yes it was really long for a romance book but I loved it! im so glad it was a longer romance book, that doesnt usually happen often. Will def read the others in the series when I get a chance. Crew was my favorite character (best book bf ever) and he always surprised me when he was with Wren. I loved the storyline it was so cutee i wish i could read it for the first time again. The theme with the kisses were perfect,

This book is one of the best high school sweetheart romances I have ever read and I didn’t think anything could top the first book in this series. 🤯 This was simply divine. It was so similar to my life that it felt so real aside from the insane wealth which is handled with such grace that this book was one of the most secure romances I’ve read in a long time.  I will forever thing of this love story when I see lipstick kisses. 💋🥹😍

Was this book good? No. Do I encourage anyone to recreate the lollipop scene? Absolutely not, (but also that scene wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be. I don’t know, I’ve read more questionable sex scenes in the past before. Have y'all read Tentacle Entanglement by Siggy Shade, now that shit is fucking bizarre and makes the lollipop scene so tame). Were there questionable scenes? Definitely. Did I still enjoy it and was a fucking mess during the entire time? Yes.

Still dark like the others in this series but this was oddly romantic and I loved how we find out what the namesake of the book is and it’s story behind it.

The development of the romance was lovely too, acquaintances to lovers per se but written impeccably so I cannot fault it.  Wren and crew deserved their happy ending and I’m glad they got it

i am a hater, and a proud one. are the straights okay like i have been seeing this book on bookstagram so many times talking about the main couple being the goals or "it" couple and the book being one of the best romances like what ?? first of all i didn't liked any of the characters they are so bland and bad people and don't get me started on the teacher wtf was that it was straight up pedophelia and no one did anything like i am just going to pretend he and the whole plotline doesn't exist for my mental health. second of all the misogyny in this book was awful. also the book made the word virgin look like a slur tbh. (don't get me started on the whole promise to dad think too it was creppy as hell) don't get me wrong i love corruption in romance but this was not it. the lollipop scene is straight up a nightmare and he gropes her in one scene but it doesn't matter because she likes(!) it afterwards 🤢 and this is not enemies to lovers stop calling it that pls they weren't enemies and i think there was no romance in most of their relationship it was just pure lust. i would have given this zero stars if it wasn't for the last chapters. oh also she was SEVENTEEN, and I know she was like a month away from 18 but that doesn't make it okay stop writing about graphic sexual scenes involving minors it's a very simple thing to do. if you can make the male mc 18 you can write her as 18 too so at least they are not minors. if you gave this book a high rating please go sit in a corner and rethink your choice. i am going to stop myself here because if not i can write a whole another paragraph about the things i hated.

I would have loved this more if it were set in college, or any amount older. I don’t particularly love teen stories. That aside, this one was adorable. I didn’t really like Wren until she started to let loose, and I didn’t like how she kept *that secret* of her friends.

I love broody type males in books, and Crew was that. I wish their connection was more than just sexual to start with because I do feel like Crew only fell for her once he got a taste of her, but I guess that’s how romance works sometimes!

If you are looking for spice, this is a 5/5.
