What kind of ending was that? And seriously, I hope the sequel contains the murder of C.P. and James. I'd love to read that. This was a great book and seriously, what was up with Katherine? She appeared for a few minutes and has a son at the end of the novel? I don't get it. Oh well. I can't wait to read the next one!

I definitely noticed the signs of this book being churned out by the James Patterson bestseller factory: substandard writing full of strange repetition and weird similes, characters acting out of character compared to previous books, incredibly fast jumps in tone, location, etc...

But still, I got through the audiobook as quickly as I could. There was plenty of scandal and drama to keep me interested, and it was great to get back to the "eccentric family with lots of secrets" theme from the first book in this series after the second book's foray into rather boring courtroom scenes and useless mystery subplots. Though on the other hand, there was so little filler in this installment that it seemed the characters could never catch a break--it was just one victory and then tragedy after another.

And even though I miss the narrator from the first two books, the new narrator wasn't bad...just not the same.

Finally,
SpoilerI don't typically wish for peoples' deaths, but Peter just has to die in the next book. Either that, or get life in prison.

Every answer in this book leaves you with three more questions, I can't wait to see how this gets wrapped up in book 4.

It was really annoying because of what the boyfriend and the best friend do. You don't do that and expect forgiveness and for everything to go back the way it was. He said he wanted to protect her but are almost being killed they just hurt her more.

This series turned to shit. It started out so promising but after the first book, the main character turned out to have zero skills and all of her PI "discoveries" were chance oh-i-stumbled-on-the-answer kind of thing. Disappointing to say the least. Not to mention by the time you get to the end of this book, the characters do crazy completely out-of-character bs and it just seemed like over-all lazy writing and the character development was shit. I was so stoked for this series and now i dont even have it in me to finish the last book.

This is one of the few series titles that I would argue needs to be read in order. You'll miss out on a lot of backstories and be a little confused with the storyline if you haven't already read Confessions of a Murder Suspect and Confessions: The Murder of an Angel.

Tandy Angel is in Paris, the city of love. But her love is acting strangely, there are clues surfacing regarding the death of her sister, and there seem to be more questions popping up at every turn. Will Tandy ever get to the bottom of the mysteries her parents have set in motion?

For me, this one was not a favorite. It felt slower than the others and a little predictable. Tandy's snark and sass were missing for me, which was sad because I love me some sassy characters. Overall, if you're looking for a mystery starring some awesome teens that will wow you I'll recommend the first or second book in this series.

Notes for parents/teachers: This one's written for YA so everything is tastefully done. There are some "adult" situations (handled with kid gloves) including romance, the mention of drug use, and death. I wouldn't have a problem with a middle school student reading this one at all.

WARNING: SPOILERS!!!!
This book was amazing! I love the confession series. I love Tandy and the entire angel family. I can't tell you how mad and upset and emotional I felt when I found out about C.P. And James. It just made me so mad! I loved James and Tandy's relationship, but I hate him. I can't believe Katherine is still alive!!!! It was so exciting. This book was great.

Like all James Patterson. The first one was amazing and this one was less then ordinary. It was like he lost it within the last 90 pages and put useless information in and didn't tie it all up
