I AM FURIOUS THIS WASN’T LONGER. This was SO good! Surprisingly complex, emotional, atmospheric, and steamy for such a short novella.
Obviously cheating sucks irl, but I think anybody who’s stuck with an asshole like Steve honestly deserves a free pass to go bone a hot silver fox mafia head in Naples.
For the love of all that’s holy I need these two to have a full length novel ASAP

If my wife tried to kill me, I’d probably enjoy the beautiful woman that walked into my restaurant as well. 🤷🏾♀️😈

AUTHOR HAS SUPPLIED CONTENT WARNINGS
1. Again, I am Katrina Jackson trash, thank you.
2. The people want more. I am people. I want more. I've been excited about these two since realising who Sal was referring to! I am thirsty for more!
3. The ending made everything so much better and again: the people need more!
CW/TW: ableist slur

This was soooo good. I love the chemistry between the couple, but the cliffhanger is absolutely heart-destroying. I immediately started the next book only to almost start crying when I saw it wasn't about this couple. I will wait so patiently for the next, but as soon as the next book in this series is out I'm going to jump on it! I really hope we get to this couple again soon and that they get a happy ending.

Read this in preparation for Mafia Romance Readathon that is happening in May. This was short and fun. Definitely interested in continuing the series.
Upped a star because I keep rereading it.

I love mafia romances, but what made this special is that the heroine is Black. I love to see Black girls falling in love, and while this is a novella, we see the beginnings of that. Katrina Jackson gave just enough to make you want more of Shae and Salvatore and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
