Initially I was enjoying the tale of three sisters,but after 3/4 th of the book, felt like, the plot was dragged out a lot,I didn't want to dnf it ,so decided to go through with it! I related with one of the characters at the beginning, but was disheartened by the stupid choices they made as the story progresses (Personal opinion).

Purchased this in the very bookstore I saw the author signing these. What an honour!
Divakaruni is a master of feminist mythological revisionist fiction. Now seeing her take on this very close, recent moment in history through the lens of these 3 women was so refreshing.
This broke me.
