After book two everything got a little dim and boring since Daire could have made so much better choices and saved them all on a shorter time span, though I understand why the author dragged it out. We needed Cade to develop further but that made me all the more angry when she killed him off.
The property said that the sun would fall and shadow would prosper while Seer would fall (not literally like that but you get the point). You understod from the beginning that Daire was Seer but when Dace and Cade sort of swapped places it all got bleary.
I loved Cade in the end since he was this desperate kid who just wanted to be loved and I just hate that Daire killed him because his spirit animal acted out. All the talk about love and she was the one who killed Cade because of a mistake? I'm so furious.
Even more when after that you get the ending where Dace and Daire bring back the light/the sun with their tricking love? Like come on, you could have saved Cade with that and Daire wouldn't have had to lose a bit of her soul.
Even if all of these things bugs me I still love the book because it's a finish and you got to connect to Lita more, you get to see Auden from another point of view too and the plot twist with his contract was just marvelous.
But the good and bad parts makes everything come together and that's why you get three stars, it's a balance of annoyance and happiness.

Wow, creepy ending! I'm not sure how I feel about the ending of this book. I'm all for the save the world part and the expected celebration afterwards, but yuck, now I'm totally creeped out! :(

All in all it's a good book (except the ending). I've really enjoyed this series. I'll be looking up her Immortals series next, I hope it's as good.

I had to commit to this book because I did NOT want this series to end.

However, I was disappointed with the amount of stupidness in this book.

The beginning was fine. we see that Daire hasn't really dealt with her grief yet. She is pulling away from everyone she loves. We get to see how she changes over the first 100 pages.

Then I think, her we go again. Didn't we already deal with this? The middle started to lack and I was really tempted to just skipit, but I didn't.

Towards the end it got better and the way it ended was really good. It promises that Enchantment will always be interesting and eventful. That the town's normal will always be a little bit different.

Overall, I liked this series very much and enjoyed this last one. I'm happy with the way that the story ended, even if it was a little wrapped up too nicely. Definitely one a series to check out and read if you haven't. It was a wild ride and never had a dull moment!

The fourth and final novel in the Soul Seekers series. Although, it doesn’t feel like it’s the last novel, and maybe another novel will appear. The novel starts in the middle of the conflict; Daire and her friends have to take down the bad guys. Her boyfriend Dace has been taken over by the beast and it’s up to her to try to destroy the beast without destroying him. Obviously there is conflict between if she can do it or not, is her love enough. Plus other conflicts being other worlds are in danger of the bad guys. The novel starts off really slow and boring, as the reader gets through the middle it gets pretty good, but the ending is cheesy and disappointing. Everything ends too perfect; the characters are too righteous and all knowing for teenagers. Overall, it’s a pathetic ending to a mediocre series.

Really great ending... Or is it? Love it when authors leave room for more at the end if a series because as you read you've fallen in live with the characters and will miss them. But an open(ish) ending is perfect, it gives hope that you'll se then again.

The beginning kind of dragged for a while but towards the middle was when things started escalating and getting more interesting. I really liked it!!!! Ahhhh I wish there was a story about what happens in the future for daire and dace.
