This one was better then the first but still pretty horrible. The art work isn't very good and they still cut out or miss a whole bunch of stuff. I understand this is a graphic novel and not a book, but all they would have to do to make it better is make it longer so they could add in the rest/more stuff. However at least in this book they actually show Dimitri and Roses affection for each other. However, I still wouldn't buy this, I'm glad I just borrowed it from a library.

Let's me say that first things first the drawings themselves were beautiful and I couldn't Dalit the art at all. The thing that let me down though was probably the adaption. It wast really that well executed and I felt as though if was a bit rushed :/ I may have just had high expectations though.

I enjoyed reading this, it was quick and a nice refresher for what happened in the book (which I have already read). It also put me in the mood to read "Spirit Bound" which I'm reading next. So nice to see Dimitri drawn mmmmmm :drools:

Wish there'd been more sign of Adrian, but I recognise the complexities of adapting a novel this way...and the limitations.

Tempted to find a graphic adaptation of something I haven't read before, but could do after (as a supplement). That would be interesting.

When you love a series as much as I did with the Vampire Academy, I will look for anything to revisit the characters again. Also, since I am starting to read more graphic novels lately, this book was able to fill both needs at one time.

While the book does not go as in depth as the books do, they are a good refresher book to help you remember things that happened in the actual novels. While we refresh our memories through this book, we also get some amazing artwork that helps bring the characters alive in our minds through sight. The artwork is amazing in my opinion. The artists really did outdo themselves with bringing little details to life with their art.

If you are wanting to read this series as a graphic novel instead of the actual book, then this book gives you a story without going overboard. I also feel that this is a great way to refresh your memory if you were fans of this series in regular print work. Overall a great addition to have if you are a serious Vampire Academy fan or if you are just starting out on the adventure.

This was a really entertaining read! The artist did an amazing job capturing the vibes of the original book and the characters. The plot was intense and sometimes sad but very interesting! I will say that I wish they didn’t cut so much out. I noticed some scenes were missing or cut short aswell. In my opinion, it could’ve been longer. Nonetheless, it was awesome!
