I listened for 30%, waiting for it to grasp me. We have two shallow characters, one adult treating the other like a toddler and the famous, successful professional acting like it is normal new acquaintances belittle, command and pamper him. In three hours of listening, nothing happens and the only thing both men think is: "O, he is so attractive!"
The narrator had nothing to work with, sure, but I found him monotonous.

While I admit that I dove into this novel fully expecting to enjoy myself because it centers around one of my favorite tropes, I didn't expect to be near blindsided by just how fun it actually was. The humor is phenomenal, and the alternating points of view every chapter have such strong voices that I truly felt like I was sitting in two different people's heads.

If you are looking for a new take on an old premise, look no further. Easy to read, and with a healthy amount of mystery twined with the romance, I frankly devoured the book in about 2 days.

YES!! I was so excited about this book, and it did not disappoint one bit. It had a great story-line (as I expect from Eden Finley), and the characters were fabulous! It's not only the story, but it's also the banter between them, the heat, the interactions, and everything else. I couldn't get enough of it and couldn't put it down. It has been one of my favorite MM books this year. I can't wait to see what comes next. 5 stars!

This is a great bodyguard romance which is a trope I love. All the characters are competent, they communicate well, and the banter is great. Plus, there was a whole discussion of why one character doesn't believe in soulmates which basically summed up my feelings on the matter.

I just didn’t vibe with this book as much as I hoped to. I didn’t like Harley that much in Hat Trick (he was Jet’s ex boyfriend) but this story changed my mind a bit. Harley is lost and has no control over his own life and he’s just trying to live with what he can do. Brix was interesting and I definitely love the bodyguard/client angle. But I just feel like we never really got to know either character completely. The stalker definitely added the perfect amount of drama to the story.

Slow. One of the main characters being weird about a secret that’s probably not even a big deal. The couple doesn’t have enough chemistry for me to be invested enough in finishing
