Stripped by Zoey Castile

This was my first stripper romance! So entertaining, it kept me from white-knuckling during the long plane ride on our recent trip to the UK. Robin and Fallon meet over a laundry mixup involving a star-spangled thong, and the flirty fun that follows is just what you’d expect from a meet cute like that. I wasn’t expecting, however, the conflicts that arise between them. I assumed her family wouldn’t be cool with his career, or she would be jealous of his clients, but Castile takes the story in a different direction and I loved that. There’s nothing formulaic about it. You’ll forget you’re reading a book about a male stripper and a teacher and just be sucked into the story of two people who genuinely like each other trying to reconcile their differences and make things work. And audio is a great choice here if you’re too shy to flash that ab-licious cover around in public, but also because the voice actors are perfectly cast and really bring the chemistry.

I am slowly working my way through authors that wrote a story in “Amor, Actually” and Zoey Castile did not disappoint me. I’m born and raised NYC, so I was hooked. I thought this book was a lighthearted, steamy romance that lightly touches upon issues with how society has taught us that things have to be a certain way or it’s wrong. I am still unlearning this way of thinking. I thought the characters were so lovable. Highly recommend.

This was a good time kind of story. I never lost interest. The characters were full, rounded people and I genuinely loved this story so much.

When I started reading and it was single elementary school teachers gets the wrong laundry bag and end up swapped with her hot stripper neighbor? Sign me all the way up! The romance is sweet and fun and the banter is funny and relatable.

I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

This was fun, the ending was a little abrupt, but all in all a fun book. I know I never rate the spice, but despite the cover, the sex scenes left something to be desired.

Sure the premise might sound a bit cheesy, but this was a great book! Esp for a debut. Every time I anticipated it taking the easy way out with conflict, it surprised me! It is well written, and paced. The characters have depth, and there is more to them than the stereotypes of their profession. I'd actually love to keep reading their story. And of course, it is so sexy.

My only complaint is that this was available on Kindle Unlimited and the next 2 in the series cost $9.99 each for kindle editions. I want to read them, but they'll have to wait.
