Corrupting the Innocent is book two in the Mafia Academy Series. It’s a dark, best friends brother, forbidden romance. This book pulls you in and holds your attention throughout. There is plenty of drama, twists and turns and secrets that will keep you on the edge of your seat. You get all the feels. I cannot wait for book three.

Corrupting The Innocent by P. Rayne (@authorprayne) is the second book in The Mafia Academy series. This is a dark mafia romance. This was just as great a story as Vows of Revenge. I am loving this group of characters. I thought the romance and spice in this book was sweet. This was not an enemies to lovers but the tension was still high. The forbidden romance aspect kept things interesting. I liked the plot in regards to issues within the Mafia. I always find it fun to try and figure out who is causing the problems. After the end of this book, I am even more excited to read the next book about Aria and Gabe.

Sofia was innocent but she still had a backbone. I was getting irritated about the whole Giovanni situation but then she did right thing. So I did think she handle that situation well which made me like her even more. I loved how she cares about other people and their feelings. I was really rooting for her and Antonio. I felt Sofia was a great fit for Antonio. Antonio was broody and just wanted to do what is best for the family. I really wanted to throttle Aurora! I was also just screaming for Antonio to get his head out of his a**. I really loved this story and the characters. Watching Antonio and Sophia get their happy ending after everything they went through was so heartwarming. I honestly could not stop reading this story. I am loving this series so far. I highly recommend Corrupting The Innocent if you like forbidden romance, mafia, spice, friends to lovers, and best friend’s brother!

Wow, I loved this book so much. I was so excited to be diving back into the Mafia Academy series. P. Rayne didn't disappoint. Antonio confused me so much during this book. I didn't know if I liked him or hated him. I hated him for stringing Sofia along, then breaking her heart. He pulled me to his side in the end. I can't wait to continue this series.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

My fun-loving happy writing duo has done it again! Their venture into the dark side of romance writing was even better than book one. I just love how their brains work together to put such awesome stories together. I loved seeing different sides of the characters when they are around other people, especially Antonio being around Sofia, he is such a softy for her.

I cannot wait to see what this dynamic duo comes up with next!!

4.5 STARS
This second book in the authors’ Mafia Academy series features sweet, innocent Sofia and powerful, alpha Antonio. They attend Sicuro Academy, a college specifically for Mafia children. It’s such an interesting, cool world the authors have created. A lot of interesting characters and plenty of intrigue. I love mafia academia stories. This book/series is less dark and gritty than traditional mafia romance but, has all the other interesting, suspenseful and unique elements that come with mafia romance.
Sofia is the best friend of Antonio’s younger sister (who is the main character of the first book in the series, I suggest reading them in order.) She’s harbored a secret crush on him for years.
He is in an arranged engagement for the benefit of his family/mafia ties. It’s not a love match on either side. His future is already decided for him.
Antonio finally starts to notice Sofia in a physical way, they begin a secret relationship with an end date as it’s impossible for him to get out of his upcoming arranged marriage and it would ruin her reputation and chances at finding a good, mafia husband if they are discovered.
It’s a bit angsty in the best ways. It is butterfly inducing, sexy and dare I say a bit sweet. Let me clarify, Sofia is up for spicy encounters for an inexperienced young woman, I loved it! They are such a sexy, fun match.
There’s drama and mystery around a few situations and when they unfold a lot happens fast that involves many players and mafia families.
I was quite pleased with how everything played out at the end.
It was such an entertaining, sexy, fun read. I love the characters. I can’t wait for the next book. I’m loving this series and the cast of characters so much.

Oh my GOD! I was so looking forward to Antonio and Sofia's story, I knew it'd be so damn good, but I wasn't expecting what a wild and amazing ride it'd be! I love this book! LOVE IT!! ❤️

It was so great to be back at Mafia Academy and I seriously couldn't put it down! 😍

This is the second book in the series and it can be read as a standalone. However, I highly recommend reading the first book in the series - Vow of Revenge, - so that you can meet the characters and get the overall feel of the group, the families and the school.

Sofia is so different from Mira and her complete opposite (we meet Mira in the first book). Where Mira wants to be on top of the family business and be part of the decision making, Sofia wants a family. Period.

I love Sofia, a lot! She's so sweet and at the same time such strong character. It was amazing to see her development, her standing up for herself and putting herself first.

My ego grows to infinite proportions because I'm the one who put that look on her face. Me.

Antonio is the synonym of loyalty and he always puts his family first. He's obedient and he does whatever is needed to be done without questioning his father or his decisions, so when his father arranges a marriage between Antonio and Aurora, Antonio just knows this is what must be done, regardless of how he really feels about it.

You make me want to give it all up.

He always saw Sofia as his little sister's best friend, until one night he doesn't. And this is the moment everything changes for him.

Sei la mia vita. La mia anima. Cuore mio.

Antonio and Sofia are perfect together! 🥺 It was amazing to see a softer side of him, especially when you're used to his business-like and serious self. He's so sweet with Sofia and so loving and you can never get enough of them. 💓

Corrupting the Innocent made me feel so much. 🥺 I got emotional on so many occasions, there were moments where I had to stop and breathe for a second because my heart ached for Sofia.

This book is beautiful and I loved every second of it! And the plot twist?? Left me both gasping from the unexpected and happy at the same time.

Thank you so much Valentine PR and P. Rayne for the ARC of this book! 💖

I absolutely love this series. I love all of the suspense and mystery that each person deals with for their family duty, but then also how they fight for what they want even when it means life or death.

Antonio is set to marry a women because it will strengthen their family, not because it is a love match. Sofia has been in love with Antonio for years despite knowing it can never happen. However when Antonio is forced to spend time with Sofia for a school project everything changes in his eyes. He finally sees what has been in front of him all along, it is just impossible for it to come true.

So much happens in order for them to get their HEA and it all left me guessing until that last chapter which I loved! I am dreading the wait till a October for book 3
