This was just okay! Not exactly what I was hoping for. Not for me, unfortunately!

Hotness

This was so good and I could not believe how it ended… it seems like that’s it but no there are so many unanswered questions!
The dynamic with Elio, Az and Devyn I really loved and definitely want to see more of their relationship development and interactions in this next book but damn rafe came out of nowhere… I wasn’t prepared for that dynamic but ooohhh did I love it.
I’m really excited for book 2 and what it brings.

Love a Monster

I absolutely loved this book. The characters have great chemistry and the FMC has a fun snarky attitude. Even though it is monster romance it reads like a regular romance novel and the surprise at the end was something I didn’t know I needed. Super hot and spicy too.

About a curious FMC who feels drawn to two handsome men she spends the afternoon Ubering around. She follows them through a portal to a monster realm only to discover they are monsters and she’s now being hunted by all the creatures that are in this world.

Read this if you like: monster romances, reverse harem (no group scenes yet), monsters, demons, and warlocks, hurt/comfort, cinnamon roll MMC with a naughty tail, a grumpy MMC with bat boy wings, and a Dom daddy who controls shadows and has tentacles and suction cups, mild bondage, and a good girl moment!

Complaints: not much of a plot or resolution to what plot there was.. it ended rather abruptly, and the character development was low.. is that really what you’re reading this book for? For me personally I need that for those higher ratings, but you might not! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

As this is a part 1 I assume there’s a part 2 out there somewhere.. I’m curious enough I could pick it up!

OMG YES! I was pulled in from page one and I could not put it down! (Also, FELT with the Atlanta traffic, it's the woooooorst.) This book starts out with so many questions, who are these guys? Why does Devyn feel drawn to them? What exactly do they do? We get some of these answers, some are glossed over, but then when Devyn decides to follow them, we get to see their true selves.

I loved Azarius and Elio, but Rafe! Holy.. he is

It's unclear if this was meant to be a standalone book or the first book in a longer series, but I enjoyed the world and the dynamics between the men and the FMC Devyn and would love to read more. I did get a little irritated at the consistently TSTL decisions Devyn made, but the men more than made up for it, at least in the basic interactions and POVs we saw. The characters definitely could have been fleshed out more.

Review edit one week later: It looks like the title changed to Part 1, so it looks like we're getting more with Devyn and the men!
