A warm, inspiring biography of Simone Biles geared towards younger readers. My kiddo was fascinated and really enjoyed reading this together.

I read this book to my children and they loved it! Especially my daughter because she just started gymnastics class. She loves Simone Biles and she even said one day she wants to be like her but even better. This book was awesome because it touched a little of Simone’s childhood and progressed as she got older, and then soon enough made it to the Olympics.

I love Simone, so maybe that’s why I’m too critical here. I thought this book could have been better. But I still enjoyed it.

The illustrations were great, but the text was not great. The meter of the poetry was all over the place and awkward to read.
