I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this book. I felt like it had the detail that I wanted in the previous gender book I read. There were plenty of further resources suggested. And it really helped to explore my own position with gender. I shall definitely be passing onto friends so they can read into it.

I really appreciated the numerous reflection exercises throughout, as well as the breathing pages. Even though I often carried on reading it still allowed for a moment to ground myself and any emotions that were being brought up. As a counsellor, I really enjoyed this aspect of the book and think other books alike should adapt this.

A good book, and definitely one I will be returning to whenever I have any questions or come across anything I want to learn more about.

Soft DNF. It was just a lot of information, so much to reflect on and give space for. I will come back to this when I am in the mental and emotional space for it.

Really informative, good signposting to other further resources, always a consideration of intersectionality. The tone of this is so friendly and kind, constant reminders to check in with yourself throughout.

Really good kindly worded breakdown of a guide to walk you through your own feelings and exploration of gender. Although I came out with more questions than answers which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I do think it can spend more time on definitions in the beginning and defining certain labels, I found myself looking up extra things later as I encountered terms later in the book. Would recommend this book and the exercises and breathing pauses are great for working through things for yourself! Great writers!

Amazing book. A must read for all, regardless of gender identity.

this is the kind of book you take your time reading, taking it in one page at a time. understanding, sitting on it, thinking and then reading some more. it was fairly accessible,, even my dumbass managed to finish it (after forever but still???) and it does help understand things for those who are questioning. would highly recommend!

Bon.
