TWO WEEKS IN 2023 AND NOT A SINGLE BAD BOOK AAAH

Thsi was such a good debut novel or was so whimsical and magical with also high stakes tension and definitely unpredictable twist and turns and a cliffhanger that would make one read the next book immediately the character and the romance and teh tropes were the best part here the angst that the author created was so cute and the writing style was very vivid and nice and fast paced I also liked the world building and the action scenes though I did hope the resolution to the climax was executed a bit better also I found the magic system to be a bit bland and underdeveloped I hope the author works on the in the next book.

I have never ever read a romance so great as Lou and Reids I literally love it so much THEIR ROMANCE IS MY FAVOURITE because it melts my heart and I love it so much. Please Shelby keep them like this..

Stopped reading with a 100 pages left to go...
This book started out SO STRONG! Seriously I flew through the first half of it. Over half of it, even. But then that 400 page mark hit and something in me just did not care what happened. I hit a wall.

I’m really sad that I was underwhelmed, I had such HIGH expectations.

Idk, maybe I’ll give it another shot later, but for now I will happily spoil myself reading the Wikipedia page to find out the ending.
