I love a short quick read but this fell a bit flat for me. I love Marni but this wasn’t my favorite. I was bothered the whole time that Brett kept James a secret and it’s all I thought about the whole book.

I almost DNFed at the beginning. The first part of this was a bit cringy, and several small parts throughout had me wincing at some of the things that were said.

The premises of this story was great, and the idea of a famous person having a sex rape leaked against their Will was something I wanted to know more about. The execution of the story could have been better. It could have gone deeper then surface level.

Overall it was good enough. I Enjoyed the audiobook, but it was a great story that I will remember a year from now.

DNF at 50%. I tried to connect to the main characters but found them very surface level. The "hookups" after the first one felt very weird plot wise because of what was happening contextually. Not worth my time.

This book....This. Book. THIS. BOOK!!!!!

I have made it no secret that Marni Mann has made me a convert to her wicked ways. Even when she scares me, even when I hate cheaters, she still makes me change everything. She has a way to convince you her way is right.

Signed is no exception. I hated a certain stuck up "lawyer" who dropped a young starlet as soon as he could. I wanted to junk punch him. I wanted to hold her and let her cry on my shoulder. (I may have wanted to shake her silly when she allowed a certain situation to happen.) I want the best for her. I wanted everyone hurt and groveling at her feet.

Most of all, I wanted her to strut her stuff like she was over it. And Marni delivered! Signed, sealed, and delivered. - Get it. Wink, wink, nudge.

Signed is raw emotions, carnal need, and serious tension. It's all kinds of hot, plenty of drama, and filled with friends that everyone needs on their side. Plus it's seriously, seriously smoking hot cover...

I have enjoyed everything I have read from Marni Mann, and Signed was no exception. I was addicted once I started reading it and didn't want to put it down. This one was sexy and captivating and I think readers will like it as much as I did.

James is used to everything that fame brings, but after a bad breakup she is trying to focus on her career. So when she has a one night stand with the sexy and older Brett, she has no idea how much her life is about to change. When she finds herself in need of help with a scandal, Brett just might be the only one that can save her.

I'll be honest and say that the only reason this one wasn't a five star read for me was the characters got on my nerves a few times here. That being said though, I still loved them for one another despite all their flaws. That is what made them easier to relate to for me, even when they were frustrating. James was young and at times her immaturity definitely showed. Brett was quick to react at times and I felt like they both needed to learn how to communicate better though. I still really liked them and the chemistry between them was undeniable. They were super hot together but there was so much more than just the attraction and physical for these two. I really couldn't get enough of them and even with the drama and angst, I didn't want to stop reading.

Overall, another great read from Marni Mann. I enjoyed the story and really felt like these two were meant for one another. I haven't been disappointed by Marni Mann with anything I have read from her, and I can't wait to see what she writes next! I would love to see more in this world as I am not ready to leave it behind!

10/10 Recommend!

Signed - Marni Mann
Book 1 of 4 in the Agency Series

Main Characters - James & Brett

James is a Hollywood star, Brett is a high profile Entertainment Lawyer. Their paths cross and they enjoy one hot night of SPICE....
Fast forward and James ends up in a bit of hot water with a Hollywood scandal that there is no coming back from. Her whole team abandons her, except for one who brings her to the only Entertainment Lawyer he knows can fix this situation, Brett.
He knows not to mix business with pleasure, and he is just enough of an ass to make James want his help and nothing more.... until they both can't help it.

Marni Mann blows the spice factor right out of the water.... Holy hotness!
She delivers an epic story mixed with just the right amount of fire.
For my first Marni Mann book, I am anxious to get through her whole back list already!
